You are entering enemy territory, and telling a true fan of the home team to sit down when his team is at war. Anybody who sits during football games at the stadium is asking for trouble. It is battle, not friendly competition.

The fan who was assaulted was a season ticket holder and lifelong fan of the Panthers. The fan who assaulted him was also a Panther fan. No enemy territory, this happened in the friendly confines of their own stadium.

Nobody has the right to assault someone unless that person hit them first.

Anybody that does this on camera is going to be in deep poo. He'll do significant jail time and can be sued in civil court.
