Typical.
Eaton played for the Phillies last year and is now with the Orioles.
Granted, he had a below average two years with the Phillies and was left off the playoff roster last year. And, the Phillies still owe him a few million for his services.
They booed him during the "ring" ceremony for last years World Series Championship. The first Championship in Philly since the Civil War and since before running water.
It's a long standing tradition in CIVILIZED sports society to congratulate and honor EVERY person in the organization for a championship. And, since "ring ceremonies" are usually at the beginning of the following year, it's not uncommon for some folks to be no longer around. NBA, NFL, MLB, whatever...............it happens every year.
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only in Eagle-land do they once again show their true colors and gutter-snipe a former player during such a ceremony. And they wonder why the rest of the nation is convinced that the worst fans in the world reside in "The City of Bodily Harm"?!?!?!
Good thing the championships in Philly are few and far between. This way we don't have to put up with such classless morons and bottom feeding maggots....................
