I never remember growing up and hearing Dallas was satisfied with going in the right direction. That seems to be the case now. Look back at the posts during the playoff run and you will see a sense of contentment that I never thought would be acceptable here. We can sugar coat it by saying we are making progress, but there aren't any rings for that. It used to be Super Bowl or bust. Now it's hey, "we're taking steps in the right direction."
Maybe I should just be thankful we aren't counting playoff byes as wins anymore though huh?

Few teams win it a year after going 5-11. There is a process and that process includes building a solid organization.

Your act is old. None of us are satisfied. But we also realize we can't win every year, and are going to enjoy the years that we don't, its the only way to get enjoyment out of your team.
And please tell us what you would do differently this off season? You avoided all of those quesitons in your previous stupid thread. No team will ever be perfect, thats why football is the sport it is.
Do you want some cheese with that whine?
You mean like dumping Terrell Owens, Pacman Jones, Greg Ellis, Brad Johnson, and Tank Johnson so that chemistry could reign in the locker room?Quarterback Coach;3335663 said:Expectations is the key to my opinion.
Winning every year absolutely not going to happen. But seeing this sense of "right direction" stuff is crap.
How about a little sense of urgency to get things done? How long will this "window" last?
You can disagree, but the fact is there is part of my post that you truly know is correct regarding the fan perception of this team.

"Philly fans (meaning now since he mentions McNabb's release) are what Dallas fans used to be."
Since this is about the Super Bowl I can only imagine he means before the Cowboys won a Super Bowl. At one time in 1965 the Cowboys fans were extremely dissatisfied with the performance. They wanted Tom Landry gone in the worst way.
Clint Murchison gave him a 10 year extension.
The Cowboys promptly went a 20 year winning season streak, went to 5 Super Bowls and won 2.
I still don't see a correlation to the Eagles dumping McNabb, why we should dump someone because we aren't satisfied, or any point to this topic at all.

Alright...go ahead and take your shots at me, but before you do so I would ask you to look...REALLY LOOK...at yourselves inside...
What do I mean by this, easy...
When did we become "happy" with just making the playoffs and winning one game? When did winning games in December become our "goal?"
Think about it? Say what you want but this team is not 100% perfect and for those of you to bash people who want moves to be made makes me wonder what happened to the feeling that we want championships in this town?
That's it. Blast me if you want, but how many of you were happy with last year? I certainly wasn't. As I've said before...If you are keep wearing your "we got five" rings t-shirt around and watch Pittsburgh fans laugh in your face.
God knows I hate giving Philly ANY credit. Hell, the last thing of any value to ever come out of that city happened in 1776. But, at least they were not "happy" with just making the playoffs and winning a few games. They wanted rings!!! (Glad they didn't get any, but that is something entirely different). They ran a QB out of town that lead them to 5 championship games. Sadly I think that today's Cowboy fans, in that big nice stadium of ours, would think that's just fine...
Damn how I long for the days when Super Bowls only mattered...
So go ahead and blast me, but like I said. Look around at our house first.
