Philly game should show us again that D wins championships

It starts up front with the pass rushers. Eagles, Jaguars, and Vikings have a stable of pass rushers, both from inside and outside. Also, they have at least one stud on the back end in the secondary.

Edge: Campbell, Ngakoue, Fowler
Inside: Jackson

We are still one edge rusher (even if Taco pans out), a legit 1Tech, and a stud safety away from really fielding a great defense. And this is without even mentioning LB, which is still a need but I think you can still get by (and possibly roll the dice on Lee staying somewhat healthy) if you have players in the front and back end of the defense.

I agree that one season doesnt make you a superstar but we could see it last year even though he struggled at times. I also agree that it is very unlikely the Eagles can beat the Saints or the Vikings. But Wentz is going to be a superstar in this league for a loooooong time. Last year when Wentz was up and down the O line lost multiple players from injury and suspension and Wentz probably had the worst set of receivers I've seen in decades. They got him one go to WR and the OLine help up and he absolutely dominated. He was going to win the MVP if he didnt get injured. Dak wasnt in contention for MVP last year. He played really well but nothing close to what Wentz did this year.

Dak was a rookie last season. They don't give MVP to rookies but they did give him the next best thing. Offensive player of the year. Wentz was in no contention for anything, where is your evidence of that or are you going to be one of those posters that just say anything without being able to prove it? You keep talking that crap about Wentz being a superstar on this board and it will get you banned real quick. I told you Wentz had a good season and no one can take that away from him. It was a shame he got hurt but that partial good season does not make him a super anything except super unlucky.

The Eagles holding their star running back to 7 yards on 10 carries means the win had nothing to do with the Eagles D. The Eagles shutting ATL out in the 2nd half and giving up zero points on non turnover drives had nothing to do with the D. Just give credit where credit is due. Eagles arent winning the SB...
