If this team is good at one thing, it's being under-dogs. They played their best last year in games where they were either expected to lose (Seattle, Indy), or were blown out the previous year (Chicago, New Orleans) or previous outing (Philadelphia). Having to face adversity this early in the season will have them more focused then ever, I think. It's when they got over confident last year that they struggled (Washington, and early on vs Jacksonville). I usually would think not having Dez, McClain, Kraken, Gregory & Leary would be disasterous, but something about this team man, I won't count them out.

Giants are an average team at best and almost beat us

Philly is a much better team than the Giants and they always get up for our game. This time there will be extra motivation for Murray and we are without hardy and McClain

They go through extreme ups and downs that lead to wild swings, but ultimately seem like an offense lacking at the QB position and missing a big-time WR.

yeh the difference this year so far with this team is it seems is they havent improved just rearranged the pieces.

atlanta played them tight (especially first half) and dared the eagles to play more patterns, more specifically drop backs (since they have an unproven QB/WR situation) that gamble was well played. the way to play them is bullish in the short zone and dare Bradford to beat you.

and chip kelly is again reactive. not proactive in his game management. kelly doesnt seem to throw curveballs in the plan.

what games did you watch? The Gnats did nothing offensively other then a few FGs..we giftwrapped them 17 points

Win or lose, if Bradford isn't a significant upgrade over Sanchez they're going nowhere. The Falcons secondary was horrible last year, and they left a lot of receivers wide the heck open in the second half. It's early, but I didn't see a guy who could consistently thread a needle against even decent coverage.

Didnt they play 3 games in like 12 days or something crazy? I cant remember the exact number. All i remember is we played a lot in a short period of time, and also had to fly to london. Am i mistaken?

not sure if London was part of it, but yeah, they played a crazy schedule. the sunday night game was nuts. on the road and they didn't get back until Monday morning. crazy
