schedule makers didn't do us any favors. Need to win at least 1 of them. If not, gspots and possibly eagles will be 2 games up. It'll all even out in the end (because our sched. in middle of season is SOFT) but it sucks that we have these 2 games back to back. G.Bay looks REAL good with Rodgers at QB. I've seen both his games this year: he's good.

Actually we did get a favor - we could have been playing Sunday in an early game. As far as monday-sunday turnarounds we did seem to catch a bit of a break.

Good teams win.

We'll find out a lot about ourselves the next two weeks. I'm looking forward to it, personally.

To be the best you have to beat the best
What he said.

Championship teams don't worry about where games are played, who's hurt, etc. They play their best and their best is, more often than not, better than the other team's. That's pro football at its finest.

I say bring it on. Let's see who proves that they are the best team. My money's on Dallas.

Yeah, and anytime you have Green Bay on the schedule and are fortunate enough to get them early in the season before the tundra freezes is a good thing.

I know, it would be cold for both teams, but I would worry about our players getting frostbite. I'm sensitive like that. :laugh2:

Me too! And I know we can't put too much stock in it, but it is interesting to see how much trouble the Steelers, a favorite in the AFC, had putting away the Browns, when we just rolled over them.

Yeah, yeah, divisional rivals, Browns didn't want to go 0-2, etc. but I do wonder if that might be at least a slight indication of how good we might really be.

I say bring it, I'm happy with the difficult scheadule, we get us prepared for the playoffs. I think we have a better team than Philly and GreenBay, so Im hype for it.

You're giving Green Bay and A Rodgers too much credit. They didn't impress me against Minn. and could have lost that game. Detroit had them beat in the 4th before Kitna imploded. The two teams they've played so far have not put any pressure on Rodgers (not that we will either). It will be interesting to see him under a pass rush.

We have the toughest schedule of all in the ealry part of the season and then it get's softer in the middle. We have a whole lot talent on this team so we wont be fearing anyone and the guys on the team know that they can beat anyone, if we excecute we will win, it's that simple IMO.

If we can take both of these games then we'll be heading into the easier part of the schedule with a perfect record, can't ask for anymore than that.

We need to win 1 of 2 the next games that is for sure. Also I bet Romo will be pumped big time to play at Lambeau Field for the first time!

If we come out 3-0, that's quite a feat. We have a pretty soft spot for the next 5 games, so we'll be sitting pretty.

Actually, after Week 3, I only see 3 more games that I'd consider "tough games."

Not to take anything from Green Bay's start, but Minny and Det are a combined 0-4, if I'm not mistaken. GB didn't look that great against an emotionless, not to mention lousy, Detroit team yesterday. It's not entirely out of the question that we won't win for the first time in Lambeau next week.

I do not want a cupcake schedule like New England. I'm glad this team will be tested.

I love this schedule! After all of our "so-called hype" during the offseason what better way to cement our superiority than by beating a few of the better teams in the NFL to start the season?! I'm sure our 'Boys will be up to the challenge beginning tonight and going into next Sunday night, also! BRING IT!!!

pretty good time to beat the best teams in the league, or lose to them. You drop these, then go on a ten game winning streak, noone really cares, because you're 11-2 and ready for the playoffs. If you're gonna have tough games, have them early, I think.

The schedule won't get any easier in the playoffs. Beat the teams you are suppossed to beat. I am excited to play such high calibur teams.

Even tho it's early in the season, we're definately gonna find out alot about this team in the next 7 days. Definately a tough back to back challenge.
