The media is already talking the Eagles up as the NFC representative. I was listening to the NFL Network this morning and they were debating over whether it would be KC or Buffalo playing the Eagles in the Superbowl. They were actually talking about how the 2 teams would match up against the Eagles. The Eagles fans are just as bad if not worse. I follow an Eagles forum that are comprised of guys that I used to debate with on the old Fort Worth Star Telegram Cowboys Forum. They don't see any team in the NFC as a threat.

...ya, Im staying away from those shows. Lets waits few more weeks when that Dream Team begin to lose.

Not sure why anyone gets all fired up over what the media says. These guys have to come up with something to discuss especially the sports stations who need 24/7 content. Of course they are discussing the Eagles, they are the only unbeaten team currently. If they should lose a couple games they will be spotlighting the current hottest team.

Not sure why this bothers people

The Eagles still could have a let down or "trap" game somewhere. It's very hard in the NFL for a team to be on their A game and be 100% focused for 16 now 17 games. Especially while on a winning streak and with the media singing their praises. Which is why we rarely see undefeated teams. Don't think it will happen against the Texans tho.

It doesn't bother me. I hope it feeds the hype and leads to the Eagles overlooking Dallas. I am fine with Dallas playing the part of the underdog and the Eagles playing the part of the hunted.

Eagles are good, not great. Remember they almost blew a massive lead against Detroit, they fell behind 14-0 to the Jaguars, needed a missed field goal to beat Arizona, and almost lost after leading the Cooper Rush-led Cowboys 20-0.

They are going to win at least 14 games and then get bounced out of the playoffs quickly.
