They definitely can be. I was reading somewhere and they said 9.5+ spreads were like 2-7 on the year to actually cover it.

But how many of those teams actually lost. Failing to cover because you only beat the opponent by 2 possessions is a big difference from outright losing to a Texans team that is 1-16 outside its division in the last 17 games

I've already notified a trash talking forum that if the other Texas team who must never be named wins on Thursday night, they will never hear the end of it from me.

They should be 13-1 or 14-0 when they come to Dallas. It could be over a month that they play a meaningful football game.

Dec 4 Titans
Dec 11 @ New York
Dec 18 Bears
Dec 24 @ Dallas
Jan 1 Saints
Jan 8 New York
Jan 15 First Round Bye

They could seriously lock it up after Dec 24 and not play a meaningful game for a month!!!

I don't know. Those Giants games can be pretty tricky. They aren't gimmes.

That’s fine. In the 90’s I would always root for a bye week and homefield advantage but I’ve changed my mind on that, especially after so many cold starts in the Tourney with our team the last 25 years. Keep playing the games, keep the intensity going, and keep the momentum rolling.

Eagles are 14-point favorites on the road.

Healthy Cowboys are still the best team in the division.

You also said we would expose Philly in our first game. We lost.

We aren’t better until we prove it. Get healthy and then let’s see.

Unfortunately with the schedules we could be a couple of games or more out by that Christmas Eve game. The Eagles schedule is a stone cold joke while we have to go to Minny, GB and Tennessee (well technically Tennessee is after the Philly game).

It’s okay they are going to get a beat down on Christmas Eve, and will quickly come down to earth.

.......damn, if they put 40 on TEX. Will be hearing Eagles Super Bowl crap all week long.

Hoping TEX can keep it close.

Putting up 40 on a one win Texans team isn’t going to rev up the Super Bowl talk. Lol Many have been talking Super Bowl with Philly all season because they keep winning games. The longer they go undefeated the more Super Bowl talk we’ll keep hearing.

Being a Houston fan will suck this week. Texans going to get smashed by the Eagles and Astros might lose the World Series to Philly.

The media is already talking the Eagles up as the NFC representative. I was listening to the NFL Network this morning and they were debating over whether it would be KC or Buffalo playing the Eagles in the Superbowl. They were actually talking about how the 2 teams would match up against the Eagles. The Eagles fans are just as bad if not worse. I follow an Eagles forum that are comprised of guys that I used to debate with on the old Fort Worth Star Telegram Cowboys Forum. They don't see any team in the NFC as a threat.
I honestly don't believe they will make it to the SB and I am rubbing like crazy on my Crystal Ball and it's not telling me a darn thing. :)

Oh it's ridiculous the way some of the media is slathering love all over them. I was watching Good Morning Football on Monday morning and they were asked about who had the most impressive win over the weekend, and here comes Peter Schrager saying it was the Eagles beating the Steelers, because the Steelers were hungry for a win. LOL! Hilarious. So according to the media, when the Eagles play a 2-5 team, they did great because that 2-5 team was supposed to be "hungry and tough" and it was an "impressive win". When Dallas plays a 2-5 team, it's "just a lowly 2-5 team". lol Goalposts always being moved. Dallas just battled against a great running team and a good defense in Chicago..........apparently not impressive.

Dak didn’t play. He kicked the dog**** out of that team last season.

They aren’t better until they prove it, either.

They beat us in Philly while our backup threw 3 INTs... oh, and we were STILL in the game (down 3 in the 4th quarter!) because we throttled Jalen Hurts.
