Philly sports writer on Jody Mac Show

For those of outside the PA/NJ/NY area, Jody McDonald is a sportstalk show host whose been bouncing back and forth between WFAN and WIP for 20 years.
Even though he's an admitted Cowboy fan since childhood, the last 10 years or so he's been drifting toward the dark side. Off the Boys wagon this year picking the Eagles.

Well the point of the thread is he had profootball writer Jack McCafferty? from one of the local papers outside of the city.

Im listening to him go through the divisions with his picks and the guy sounds fairly knowledgable and unbiased and I'm thinking this guys gonna pick Dallas.

He does and gives a spot on analysis of the BEARS EAGLES SAINTS and COWBOYS. Picks Cowboys and Saints for NFC Championship.

In his Cowboys analysis he believes it comes down to Romo. Is he for real. Believes thats the most intriuging question in the NFL this season. Says people hes spoken to have a strong feeling positive or negative.
What got me pumped was his Romo take. He's completely sold on Romo. 100% convinced that he is a great qb right now and will go to many probowls.

Not much positive Cowboy talk on NJ airwaves, this made my afternoon.

I feel after going from over-night sensation in one minute to coming back down to earth the next, only to get a big kick in the gut to end the season-Romo finally came back to refocus himself, and really take his offseason seriously. I too have high hopes for this guy.

And oh yeah-that Xmas Eagles game STILL lingers that sour taste in my mouth(especially when Correll Buckhalter scratched his ***hole to the crowd after scoring that TD)-I just can't wait to get revenge on them.

I talked to that dude in 02 outside one of the entrances to the vet, across from the rocky statue when it was still by the arena.

He laughed at me for wearing my cowboys stuff to the last home opener ever at the vet!!

He seemed like a good guy, I used to see him on wfan when i was home now and then.
