***Philly vs Saints Game Thread***

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet or not, but if the Saints win tonight, then Peyton will have done something BP hasn't done in 4 years......win a playoff game. Playoffs???? (sounding like Mora Sr.)

Why are you guys debating that decision? It was early in the freaking 3rd Q. The sheet says wait til late in the game and do it when you absolutely have to. You take the sure point separation of 1 versus the possibility of being down by 2 that early in the game.. ok back to your quibbling.

Exactly...it's just too early in the game.

You have no idea how the scoring is going to turn out and that one-point could be the difference.

3rd atr, end of nearly, when they scored and it was 26-21. Get the 2 pt there and its 28-21. Now a FG ties it.

this is one hell of a game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

roy williams covers more ground than just about anyone in the NFL :lmao2:

And if they end up losing by 1?

Then going for and failing to convert the 2-pointer was a bad decision.

:)

Like I said, you can make an argument for going for 2. In the NFL, you're not going to see it very often, and in the playoffs, almost never.

If the Saints miss the two-pointer, then a FG beats them...

Again, you can make a case for either-or, but you're not going to see it in the NFL.

Funny how the quick slant works so well to Colston but we don't throw it to TO often enough. :( I'm guessing Sean Payton would have put TO in much better positions this year in Big D if he were still here.

you know who i think would make one hell of a coach for the dallas cowboys?

moose johnston

he knows what needs to be done on both sides of the ball.

This drive is eerily reminiscent of the 80+ yard, time-killing drive that clinched the Saints vs Eagles game earlier this year.

Either run it or go for a short pass; going long is not a high percentage play.

My fault.
