Philly's Obsession with Dallas

I preach this all the time to the Eagle fans that surround me here in New Jersey.....Posts on FaceBook went ballistic after the game, a celebration like no other....LOL (although I cant really say I found it funny)

Eh, most NFL team's fans love to celebrate losses by teams they hate. Especially when they're teams that get a huge high profile when they're a fan of a team that people don't really care about.

If you're an Eagles fans, it's not like you can be happy that your team has won a super bowl in the past, and after this season, they just watched Dak have a pro bowl rookie season while their guy they traded up for had a 1:1 TD to INT ratio.

Eagles fans right now are just desperately hoping that Wentz isn't a bust and that it really is just their bad receivers that caused their offensive problems this year, etc. So being able to take their minds off the Eagles failures and laugh at the Cowboys losing in the playoffs is a blessing for their fans right now.

It has nothing to do with losing a game we could have won.
I live in the Philly market.
These losers have absolutely nothing to get excited about with their own teams so they need to find happiness in others failures.
I will say the eagles fans are generally educated fans on our team. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if the Cowboys draw higher TV rating in Philly than the Eagles do. Its bizarre.

The article was almost disrespectful to Eagles fans for if you read it through.

Basically saying that Dallas could care less, we care more about the Skins and Eagles fill the void of not winning championships with hatred of other teams.

I've always said that if the United States was an actual person, Philly would be located right where the a**hole is. They've been irrelevant since McNabb left and deep down they know Wentz might not be the answer either.....
