Flyers fans have to deal with alot, mostly all the phantom BS calls they get just because of a reputation they gained 40 freaking years ago. There are plenty of good people there compared to the few idiots that make the news all the time. Those idiots are the only people most of you know though, since you arn't in the city and don't see the good people or hear about the good things going on there. You know what you hear on the news.

I'm sorry dude....I lived there....I've been to several flyers games there (not to mention other sports) and that city is chock full of *******s. This is not some media conspiracy. The ratio of losers to good people there is not a positive one.

Large concentration meaning MAYBE one or two percent of all the people in the city. Still doesn't make it right to call the entire city garbage or all the fans garbage. Its just silly.

Like those people up in Montreal that threw a banana on the ice when Wayne Simmonds was skating around before their game against the Canadians. Clearly that is one of the most classless things ever in the history of sports, yet you can't blame the entire fanbase. Even if Philly has had a couple incidents every season.. its still only a couple people out of the hundreds of thousands of fans that attend games every year that cause a problem.

so....at Flyers games when the entire arena chants SUCKS after the name of each starter gets announced for the opposing team, I assume you think they are all just "being classy" or something......right? right?

Erm, from a hockey perspective, did you watch the game. The call on Cally and no-call on Gabby were atrocious. Plus, there was no evidence that McDonaugh's hand covered the puck. The refs did everything they could to help get that game into OT, and the Blueshirts still beat em.



...and there are more than a few idiots in Philly. There are lots of them. One kid from Philly tried to start an argument with me in a grammar class about Sav Rocca being a better punter than Mat McBriar from across the room :laugh2: There are a TON of idiots from philly.
