Erm, from a hockey perspective, did you watch the game. The call on Cally and no-call on Gabby were atrocious. Plus, there was no evidence that McDonaugh's hand covered the puck. The refs did everything they could to help get that game into OT, and the Blueshirts still beat em.

I wasn't talking about one game.. although i agree the call that gave Briere the penalty shot was questionable at best.

I watch a ton of hockey, probably more than football to be honest...and the flyers are a team I watch a lot b/c they're in the same division as the Rangers.

They don't get treated any different than any other teams in the league. Some nights calls go their way, some nights they don't. It's just the way it goes.

I'm actually a fan of his, but Scotty Hartnell gets away with a TON. He runs d-men late after the puck is gone all the time, and constantly tries to start stuff around the net. Guy's a good player, but he could spend a lot more time in the box if the refs wanted to call it.

Eh, Hartnell does what he does. Its little stuff. He takes more cheap shots than he gives. Other than that, its just trying to rile the other team up. Can't fault the guy though because he's always there to stick up for teammates.

As much as i hate the Rangers, i gotta say it made me like a few of their players more after watching 24/7. Lundqvist, especially, seems like just a good, hardworking dude who is truly an elite player in the NHL. Lot of respect for him.

Callahan seems like a very good captain for them, and if there was a coach i would want other than Lavvy, it'd probably be Tortorella. Imo, those guys are the two best coaches in the league right there, and i love their attitude and passion.

The clip with Callahan's grandmother in Buffalo was great.

This is something Philly fans always do. Why aren't these people charged with Hate Crimes to enhance the penalties for these types of attacks? It's obviously a hate crime, and should be punished accordingly.

How many of you have actually spent time in Philly outside of a sporting event, if that? I will agree largely that many eagles fans are morons, but go to a Phillies, Sixers or yes even Flyers game, and you generally won't have a problem. The media is ridiculous when it comes to painting fans here negatively, but I've been to enough games in other cities, and have friends who've done the same to say that EVERY city has it's share of drunken a-holes, but ESPN, SI, etc NEVER talk about that if they can help it. That clown that assaulted the Rangers fan was a real punk, but dopes like him are not the general rule here. I'm telling you.
