Well this is another tough game to even try to talk about.

i actually might consider this a worse loss than last week after watching that.

so this will be kept rather short b/c after the 1st half i could barely muster up the energy to keep notes on the 2nd half.

so what can we take positive out of this game? pretty much nothing, but i can at least list some players that played hard and didn't just give up.

Ware was all over the field and did fantastic in all aspects of the game (pass rush, run defense, coverage)

Miles Austin again was just phenomenal today. i give one demerit for the one drop, but that will happen and he still was our big weapon. the ball that got intercepted i don't blame on Austin, that was just a HECK of a play by Tillman

Dez i thought played a very good game, not even counting the punt return, which was AWESOME. i thought he did a good job as a receiver from what i saw. i'm sure he made some mistakes but for the most part very good.

i was going to put Roy on this list until that fumble, UGH!!! however i can't believe they didn't blow the whistle on forward progress, i mean he was driven sideways about 20 yards.

Jenkins i thought was playing very well until he got hurt. the long bomb to Knox however was on him i think he underestimated the speed of Knox.

on that subject, i have my fingers, legs, toes, arms, and anything else crossed on his injury

Newman played pretty well also. yes he missed a tackle on Hester, but that happens, otherwise he was solid.

i'll give one last note to a player, the Gronk...did a pretty good job and capped it with a TD....i won't fault him much for the running game b/c the whole team sucked there

some other players gave good efforts but i won't list everything...

ok, so the bad:

where to start here? ugh, ugh, ugh....does that say enough?

i think i'm still scratching my head about that pooch kick after the Dez TD....WHAT WAS THAT???!!!

running game...um...huh??? it was working well to begin with and then it just disappeared.

our usual draws did NOTHING

our MLB in coverage were BLEH! that was Brooking's bad i think on the TD to Olsen.

speaking of our MLB, how horrid must our backups be? did they even get in the game? i think i saw Leon at the end of the game on one snap but that was it.

Alan Ball got a little used and abused in coverage

Romo: i don't know what was going on but he was behind on a lot of throws, one of which cost us the INT, another a first down to Roy, and another a possible TD to Choice. something has been off with him

we can point blame in a lot of areas again, but the thing that bothers me the most, and has for a few years, is this:

when the chips are down it really seems to me that this team just throws in the towel and looks defeated. is that on coaching? to me it should be, but i don't know.

one last thing i'll mention is Buehler. he was 2 of 3, but the one he missed was huge. now should 44 be automatic? i don't know...but i think he over hit it after what happened last week.

now people will probably also mention no touchbacks, but the Bears were running everything out, and some teams may have downed 2-3 of those

i'm sure i missed some things, but my mind is a little off at the moment because there's so much steam coming out of my ears.

thank you to the players who didn't give up and kept fighting, i'm sorry your efforts weren't also given by the rest of the team

let's all get on our knees and start praying folks, we could be looking at a long year.

one more thing i'll mention is that i love Witten wanting to get back into the game and fighting for that....but i give the staff a lot of credit for holding their ground b/c the last thing we need is something serious happening to him.
