Since I feel so strongly in saying this, I thought I would go ahead and post this now. The Suns do not deserve to even be seeded in this year's playoffs. Most fans are tired of the rollercoaster ride. It isn't so much getting to the playoffs and not quite winning the trophy, but knowing there is enough talent on board to get the job done. They were the only team this past year to never lose more than two in a row and they also held some great winning streaks last year. The team is very confusing and frustrating to watch. Sometimes they click together and they seem unbeatable at a lot of times.

The problem is the idiot coach and lack of any focus, heart or desire to win on the player's part. This current team needs to be dismantled and they need to start over as well as a new coach. I am not saying this in a depressing fashion but saying this actually in quite a good mood with the mindset it is only a game and they all went home in their Lambos or Bimmers to a huge home. I love my team because I was born and raised there and will always stick by them but I wont stick by a team that wont represent any heart or a true grit and determination to win and get the job done. I would rather lose by having junior high school players out there giving it their all.

With that said, I give major props to the Spurs this series. They played clean and they played with tremendous skill the past few games. They turned it on yet again for a great run so far. I have seen a large number of Suns fans say the exact same thing and the only complaints are going towards the coach, owner and the players. The Suns can be insulted forever and a day but the first two games shows that they can be a team to be reckoned with as long as they stay in each quarter and realize its a game worth fighting for. They obviously don't and why should I watch such pitiful playing! Phoenix's defense is like trying to get an ant to urinate to stop a forest fire. Win or go home is the MO and Phoenix just got handed their locker room goods compliments of the entire Spurs. :)

They also do not have the mentality or the smarts to adjust like Pop does for his players. The Spurs were an absolute machine last night and they seemed to have heat seeking missiles for shots. This thread isn't about whining about my team but rather give credit to where credit is due. Just like in an MMA fight where a true fighter congrats the other guy if he owns him due to the love of the game, I do the same for the Spurs this year. You guys have really outclassed us this series and I can always congratulate a better opponent. :bravo:

Classy post. I can definitely feel your frustration.

D'Antoni must be a very frustrating coach to watch run your team.

Hopefully a Cowboys Super Bowl this year can help heal these wounds for you. :toast2:

I gave up watching recently. I try to force myself, but I can't believe how inconsistent they are. I will always love our players, but something just isn't working. I don't think we will get any respect unless we change coaches. It was a good season and I hope the Cowboys whoop butt this year.

I'm not too upset about the Suns most likely getting the boot in the first round, it's only a game and not worth letting my blood pressure rise.

the problem with the suns and the mavs (unless the mavs play the spurs) is that they dont have that extra level of intensity come playoff time. Thats why, no matter what happens in the regular season, i think the spurs are always a team others need to watch out for as long as tim, manu, and tony are here. The suns and mavs either waster their energy in the regular season or just dont have that extra lift when it counts, i really cant tell you which one it is.
