Same thing happened to my knee in April playing basketball, looked just like that!

Judging by the way that Brady was being helped off, it was apparent that he was in pretty serious pain. I hate to see serious injuries to any player. It takes away from the enjoyment of the game. I'd rather whup a healthy Brady than give them any excuses.

:laugh2: The guy actually overthrew me on a fastbreak and I tried to save it from going OB and came down on my right knee and it buckled.

Looked bad. Unlike Randy Moss, I don't think it was a dirty hit. It is football and the safety was trying his hardest to get to the QB with the Pats fullback(I think) pushing him. Just an unfortunate break.

From what I could see, I don't believe it was a dirty hit. As was mentioned, if the hit on Carson was not dirty, then neither was this one. If you ask me, it's just Karma. Sooner or later, the law of averages catches up. That's just how it works.

No, but the older I get, the harder it is to get out of bed, the easier it is for me to sustain injury, the less likely it is that I will escape those injuries I used to be able to avoid.

I'll be on a roof fixing some leaks this after noon. I'll guarantee you that my back will not feel the same carrying roofing materials up and down that damn ladder. Heck, I might even manage to sprain my finger so yeah, there's hope I suppose.

Yea I saw the play, and I agree I don't think it was a cheap shot. The Safety was bring held down by a back, as he was trying to get up to make a play on Brady.

You can see the Pats FB(?) laying ontop of the defender. He was cleary being pushed as he was going by the FB, and well the law of physics say that an object in motion stays in motion until a reacting force acts upon it

That reacting force for the Pats unfortunaty, was Brady's knee.

I think it's Torn ACL on here that has a still of that as his av... I had to put him on ignore so I wouldn't see it.

Too bad for Brady and the Pats. But I have a feeling some teams are going to take advantage of it and get some payback for last year.

Unfortunately, his competitive nature worked against him on that play. If he would have gone down like most QB's in this league, no hit would've been applied. But he has been so durable and gutsy during his career he probably thought nothing of it.........sucks for him and the cheatriots.
