Well, I have to say thanks to everyone who responded. I actually thought I would get more bogus replies with ridiculous names, but everyone was civil about it.

The most common mistake was with the player who possessed the ball. The other three players were answered accurately by the majority of those who participated.

The biggest mistake was with those who claimed Chuck Howley to be Bob Lilly. And we even had several people who thought he was Larry Cole.

There were 75 respondents, but 12 qualified for round two.

The correct answers were.......

I have sent a private message to each contestant informing them that the trivia event is underway. They have also received a password to confirm their response. If they do not respond with-in 48 hours, we will have to progress without their entry.

Please don't provide any answers to the questions in this thread. In other words no spoilers.

To keep this contest more interesting to all member, I have provided the Trivia questions for viewing outside the testing center. Here are the questions just as they are posed to the contestants.......

Q2: Which media outlet first published this photo? *

Q3: Name the game in which this event occurred. *
You must mention the opponents, date, and significance of the game

Q4: What title was this player awarded the year that this game took place? *


Q5: Three unprecedented events transpired in the season that this photo was taken. What were they? *

Each question has a value of 10 points. Since questions 3 and 5 contain 3 responses each, they are worth 30 points (10 points for each correct answer). The maximum points possible are 90 points. The contestant with the highest score will be dubbed the winner.

You're welcome Poke. I really didn't expect anyone to get all of them right. But if they do, then they are most likely the sole winner. Which is what I am hoping for. It's nice to have a clear cut victor in a contest. So I made it a multi-question test. That should help create some distance between participants.
