ARLINGTON * Construction of the new Dallas Cowboys stadium is still on schedule, but there's one major element that won't be ready next year.
The Cowboys Hall of Fame will probably open in 2010, after the team's first season in Arlington.
"To be able to do that right and do it the way we want to be able to do it, we just felt like the best decision was to focus on getting the building completed and then follow up," said Brett Daniels, a Cowboys spokesman.
He said that work on the Hall of Fame will continue throughout the 2009 football season. The team museum, which will be open year-round, is expected to have photos and interactive displays showcasing Cowboys history.
Cowboys officials said they have not decided how much room the Hall of Fame will occupy.
