'Physical, violent' mantra for O-line, running backs taking center stage for Cowboys

In 20 years it will be flag football.

Did anybody 20 years ago think the Pro Bowl was gonna turn into flag football?
yes people predicted that and even suggested it.
The pro bowl was out dated and players dont want to risk injury in it .
So instead of letting it go and losing some revenue, they went to flag football.

I quit watching that game 25 years ago.

FRISCO, Texas — Forrest Gump isn't the only one tasked with running until his shoes melt into the asphalt beneath them, because it's sounding more and more as if Brian Schottenheimer and the Dallas Cowboys will enact the same strategy for their offense in 2025 and beyond.

It's a vision declared upfront by Schottenheimer, as early as his inaugural address in early February, crystal-clear on what he's hoping to establish in the construction of his offensive coaching staff.

"We're going to do a great job of marrying our runs and our passes and make those look the same," said Schottenheimer. "I'm proud to say at two different times in my career as a coordinator, we led the league in rushing, and they go hand in hand. The running game and the action pass game go hand in hand."

With the staff now finalized, make no mistake about it, that path is set in stone.
