i saw charollete at san antonio traiining camp, wasnt too impressed with her because i told her about this boy that sent a nfl football to get signatures;

the boy was 12 and his dad was dying of cancer, so i told her to see if she would get cowboys to sign them, the police officer there told me that the cowboys loved that for media and personal stories, but she didnt seem to care about the boy and his dad that was dying.

luckly i got about 18 names on the football, but got no caring from charlotte at all, and the boys dad died about 2 months later

Cry me a river.....she probably hears that poor me story everyday of her life & it gets old & wears on you. And over half the time the story is a lie. She has done many great things for the community through charities (Salvation Army). So I dont blame her. Just like when bums in the city ask me for money or spare change & I tell them to get the hell away from me; but there smoking a cigarette. LoL.

The center-hung video board will stretch between the 20-yard lines.

Boy, imagine playing some 3DO on that! :dance2: :beatit: :dance3:

I don't care for the monitors on the end, looks stupid.

it wasnt a story or a lie. Was the truth. I just got the impression from her, that so what, big deal, like she would care less about someone dying from cancer and a boy wanted to give his dad a present, which is all he had to give before he passed away. Just the impression that I got from her, the way the expression on her face, of could care less. When I talked to the policeman, he told me that the trainers that usually handled those things or whoever the guy was. He wasnt there, but Charolette was. Now, if i was or had been on some charity like you suggested, and she was going to get all of the publicity, then she probably would have. Because I saw her with the mayor of the city and his little boy, she was all over that.

Thats all im saying and im not crying over spilled milk. Just like the boy appreciated the football with the 17 or 18 signatures that I got, I know that God appreciated that too, because in a way was a heart touching story. Thats just the impression I got.

I helped mask, paint inspect, load and ship many of these LED fixtures for the Cowboys new video board. I work for Clark Metal Products in western PA. We had to ship 75 fixtures a week for Mistubishi, who had the contract for the new stadium. It was awesome knowing that I was a part of helping construct part of the new Dallas Cowboys stadium.

Being that I am a die-hard Cowboys fan, and 98% of my co-workers are Steeler fans, you can imagine the greef I endured, and still endure. But I hold my own in a sea of black and gold.

Now we are in the process of doing the same for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and most likely the Pittsburgh Penguins new arena.

That's cool, Flecth.

You know, if I were Jerry, I might have some serious misgivings about important parts of my stadium being put together in Steeler country. Not even kidding... You know how those fans can be.

I hope whoever was in final inspection was at least neutral. :)

Some kidded that they'd put a small stamp of the Steeler's logo on each of the LED fixtures that were to be hung for the video board just to curse the Cowboys new home. I would have been pissed had that been the case.

When the Cowboys went home last year before the playoffs began, I heard, and still do hear continuous jokes like... "Hey, I bet Jerry Jones has the team working hard on the new stadium now that you guys have nothing to play for."

Sigh! It can be tough when you bleed blue and silver, and you have to continuously listen to that garbage day in and out, even during the offseason now that Steeler fans can brag about their "six pack" of championship rings.

My father-in-law, a big time Steelers fan is already talking of a seventh ring. Here in the Pittsburgh area, they already have a name for their supposed seventh championship... "Stairway to Seven".
