No, I am having to lift weight for the most part now because of my knee. You will not get your heart rate up enough to lose weight.
Now what you will be doing is putting on muscle and that will help you burn more calories, especially when you are at a resting state.
Yes, very difficult to say no to fast food. Which I never did. Anybody that goes on a "diet" is probably going to fail when it is all said and done.
You have to go on a "lifestyle" change. Where you develop eating habits that are healthy throughout your entire life. You can have fast food every now and then, just not everyday.
I am serious, I typically reserve my fast food days for Sunday. Today, I almost lost the battle and was going to chipotle and then after I saw that picture, I decided to eat what I brought from home
