What do you think about them? Should they be illegal? It seems that you should just run them constantly because they rarely get called for an offensive penalty and they usually result in a wide open receiver.

The Saints used them very effectively last night. The Cowboys seem to want to beat you straight up, with no gimmicks, which I like, but I think it's about time to even the playing field.

The only play Williams was open on all night was on an illegal pick by Witten....we better keep that in the playbook.

My eyes were opened during the Packers - Chiefs game in week 2 where the Packers literally ran a pick on just about every play including 4 TDs in the red-zone.

It prompted Pete Prisco at CBS to write a whole column on whether the league is now essentially allowing illegal pick plays and whether this is the new norm:

Those Packers' pass plays from SNF? May be as illegal as they are clever

Each week I am seeing more and more of it. Nobody does it better or more consistently than the Patriots. The Packers have followed suite now that Nelson is out. Other teams are seeing that the NFL is allowing the Patriots/Packers get away with it and following suite.

My personal opinion this move to constant picks all the time is an abomination.

Haven't we already been called for one? I do remember last year then calling us for one despite the fact teams did it to us often with no call.

Every team runs these. Obviously every team gets away with them at least some of the time, or they wouldn't run them as often as they do.

Every team will continue to run them as long as they're getting away with them more often then they're not.
