Pickens on his contract expectations

Oh no. Not at all. I went to the mat on this topic a year ago.
Intentionally calling a a person the wrong name is a micro-aggression.

It is a deliberate attempt to disrespect another human being and "other" them so you can create the opinion or reality that suits your narrative.

I prefer to focus on their play and discuss those aspects, but taking away someone's name - the one their mother gave them. That's just seems wrong, and so typical for the society that is dominating the culture now.

I agree.

In some groups it’s more than a micro aggression, which is what I was pointing out to someone using coded language

I understand why they have the salary cap and all, but something has to be done, because let's flip the roles, and put Jerry Jones on a salary cap. How fast do you think these Billionaires will be in court? I think you do something like make 5 players exempt from Salary cap or something like that.

They need to cap every position at a certain number and stop with this rising cost of setting the market!! At what point will we have a QB making 100 million a season

That is not micro aggression. Don’t use terms you don’t know or understand. Calling someone by something other than there first name is flat out disrespectful and meant to be.

I agree.

So you don’t know what micro aggression means either. And what groups are you referring to? What does flat out disrespect have to do with any group?

Good attitude, but I'm sure David is like ......shhhhhh (lol)

Anyone else having a flashback PTSD did David not tell him to not do Parsons and come out and tell him that you're not trying to break the bank you're not trying to be the next highest paid this and that and then that garbage went right down the toilet it went straight to greed it went to a bad holdout and a trade..

In the final analysis, the real question is does Jones want to pay two WRs, #1 receiver money?

I have lost my way and I'm not going back and figuring out what the hell you guys are talking about LOL are we talking about the Cowboys are we talking about here within the zone the way people interact with each other?

I mean there's a real word for it it's called passive aggressive I don't everyone else is using these words but some people Disparaging thoughts with sarcasm and other things trying to lighten it up besides the fact that we can get in some big trouble being too aggressive so some people find ways around it and find an acceptable man or to have our hot debates...

I call it a Gray area when people irritate me to a point where I need to put them on ignore I will and sometimes I find that they pop back in somehow and I have to handle it passive aggressively..

I can tell you this society as a whole all of it all the above whether it's in these groups Facebook group pages all the rules X is a little easier to deal with because robots run that and they very rarely suspend or boot somebody out I mean you have to really be horrible and so far outside the lines but I can tell you this people are just flat out soft they're easily offended and they can't handle some of these debates they get involved in them they push it and they don't like the results sometimes and they get their feelings hurt..

I keep my feelings out of it if you wanna debate me hard then you need to take it as hard as you give it that's just how it goes don't get involved in it if you can't handle it...

Used to we had to do these things in person yes even with strangers you're at a bar or sports bar you can even be at the game and you have these heated discussions whether you're on the same side or different sides and you have to learn to control yourself because in the end if you're not online you're probably getting in a big fight we've seen it on many occasions people posting videos of people getting into fights at games and stuff..

No if you start it if you wanna have a heated discussion with two different opinions then you need to be able to deal with it..

If this didn't have anything to do with what you're talking about it doesn't matter just think of it as a new subject..lol

Id also like to take the time to recognize marginalized groups and the socioeconomic inequities that ive been faced with.

And I never learned to read........

Translate.......I want what is fair
Translate: I want to be paid a very good wage, in the top 5. I am just going to let my agent take care of the business of contract and I will smile all the way to the bank.

By the way, I believe GP deserves it.

The dude's name is Micah Parsons.

I don't like the way he behaved in the contract negotiations and his final days on the team. There were disturbing hints to the type of person he would become. The podcast. The stuff between him and Lawrence. HIs family, specifically his brother, on social media. I really disliked that.

I would have no hesitation to let his mother, friends and family know that, but I wouldn't strip him of his dignity by calling him another name in front of him or his loved ones.

That seems wrong in my opinion.

Yes nobody should blame Jerry Jones for making that move jerry didn't want to do it it was very hard for Jerry to move on from Parsons They had a very good relationship up until the agent and player S started acting like they did it was unnecessary and uncalled for jerry has paid every single homegrown drafted superstar he's ever had since 1989 except for one And if anyone doesn't see why you've already stated it all..

The dude is a great pass rusher and Jerry did not intend to let him go all the way up to a week before camp He tried his best to ignore the antics and the craziness and even Jerry said this is too loud for even me i'm out Parsons forced his way off this team no other guy had to ever do this yeah sometimes a guy would do a soft hold out or a soft hold in They sort of make sure they're heard,

And I'm OK with that but Prescott didn't have to do any of it and he took charity the cleaners he got everything he ever wanted plus more He didn't have to say a word He showed up to every practice every OTA every mining camp he had leadership practices off the field during the offseason he took guys on trips Never said a word not during the franchise tag and almost the second franchise tag waiting to pay him until the last minute prescott is the way things are done they should be done but I don't mind what Lamb did..

It happens you have to let people know you're serious but you can't do what Parsons did that was just so immature it was so ridiculous It told me he didn't want to be here and Jerry obliged he said goodbye we got a lot of good draft picks from it we'll see you in years to come will it pay off I don't know But you're right he made a mockery of himself He embarrassed the star and he should have to leave..

That's it one player one drafted superstar that could have got his second contract his first big giant contract he blew it jerry has never let 1 of those guys go ever...

So yes George Pickens surprisingly enough is the person you would expect it to do that and it's not done that and I applaud him for it..

I name it a microaggression because it is a way to subtlely hide disrespect.

What I also do find disrespectful is the fact that you and I do not know each other and you are quick to state, "Don't use terms you don't know or understand."

So I don't want to start a flame war, but I guess I would like you to show me through your understanding and research what you think a name-calling microaggression is and how you think I have an incorrect interpretation of it?

If you want to know how I define it you can find numerous cases of tort law in both the country where I am from and also the US where the league is based out of. Most of the cases stem from workplace violations and specifically to immigrants.

We are not far apart in how we feel about the behaviour, but I find your approach was somewhat disrespectful on your part.
