When they talk about Eli, the commentator says ELi throws a ton of pics and a ton of interceptions?

I think i heard it correctly? Is there a difference between pics and interceptions?

I know they both refer to the same thing, but in the audi about Eli the comemtator says Eli throws a ton pics and a ton of interceptions. LOL

The term pic or pick refers to "picking-off" the opponent team's pass; or interception.
