Any above average QB hits Gallup in stride on that 4th quarter throw. Heck, Jared Goff makes that play with ease. His one big play was because CeeDee made an amazing catch on an inaccurate throw

There are different styles of NFL quarterbacks which is why comparisons are futile.It is also true that you cannot expect certain aspects of a QB's skillset to magically evolve into something else of they don't have the physical attributes required.

Dak Prescott is not a gunslinger. He is not a gifted, accurate passer with the ability to quickly find the open man and hit him perfectly between the numbers while double teamed. That's just not Dak and it never will be.

Dak was supposed to be a smart leader that was aware of his limitations and didn't allow them to become a factor in a game. He was supposed to be careful, make the smart choices, and take no risks. He's supposed to be efficient, not flashy.

Dak is not an elite talent. If he was then he would have been a top 5 overall pick, that's where you find those guys, the ones that look like they were built to be NFL QB's. That's not to say his type can't have an elite career, many have. However, they didn't do it by behaving as though they were one of those top 5 picks.

The idea that Dak had to be more "aggressive" is absolutely insane. I put that idea right up there with making Marion Barber a starter in the NFL. That's not what he was capable of doing, he weas misused and Dak is being misused.

Dak Prescott should never have to throw mare than 28 passes in a game unless they are down by three scores in the 2nd half. Considering the defense, that should be truly rare and most likely, it will go down as a loss.

Dak gets a lot of the blame but there is plenty to go around, and I believe the lions share goes to an unqualified, part-time, amateurish GM that has no business, even his own, to have that title on his office door. Plenty of blame also goes to a group of no-balls, yes men masquerading as offensive coaches.

For one, I am not mad Dak got money, just that he got it here. J/K, sorta

I am not one of the constant Dak bashers, feel free to go check my posts. Up until this year, I was firmly on board that he was going to be the QB that finally got us over the hump. Well, maybe it started toward the end of last year. There are a ton of posters here that have finally just given up hope that he is the one. He has just been wildly inconsistent this year. He almost refuses to run, even when there is wide open field. Help me out here, what am I missing that makes you think he can string together enough strong performances in the playoffs to get us to the SB?

Hopefully we keep investing in the defense, maybe if we can hold the 9er's to 14 next year, and Turpin breaks outside instead of into the tackler, we may win a divisional playoff game.

I don't disagree that Prescott needs to be able to read a defense but surely he will have been shown the tools at the start of his career. I don't see him being able to suddenly dissect a defense at this stage of his career

You can ALWAYS point to someone that SHOULD have done better. SHOULD have gotten that interception. SHOULD have scored a punt KO return.

But you really think those are the same as QB throwing lame duck interceptions and pick 6's?

These guys that have been intercepting Dak barely have to fight for it.

There's never a game that went absolutely perfect for everyone. But...don;t you think we should have some discernment here? Like...not every sin is exactly equal?
