Couldn't help but chuckle at Bennett bouncing around:

Got any better ideas(that aren't time consuming and expensive)?

Hey, you know what, I give Bennett a ton of credit for getting up again and again and still chasing down the play, even without a helmet.

Conversely, look at the halfhearted effort Kevin Ogletree is giving throughout the play.

What I saw was a guy not giving up on the play. Even after his helmet gets knocked off, he gets up again and is the guy that pushes the defender out of bounds.

I like the effort by Bennett there.

Didn't mean to insult you. I thought you were linking to someone else's vid. It took "time" for you to tape and upload the living room tv recording, so doing the same with a DVR recording is no more arduous.

You beat me to it, that was a great play by Bennett.

I might be wrong, but I thought that posting a video of your television was not copyright infringement. You also need the right equipment and software to upload video from your DVR to the Internet.

Not insulted, it was a serious question. I don't know how to get a quality recording from my DVR to my PC where I can upload it. I admittedly haven't spent a lot of time looking, but from what little I did, it didn't look simple for my setup (TV in the living room with no PC attached). I just use my Iphone because its so damn easy, just shoot the video, edit it and then hit "upload to youtube". Quality sucks, but seems to serve its purpose

That's what I thought I had read somewhere.

BTW, I didn't post the video as a knock on Bennett, I loved the effort, I just thought he looked like a pinball bouncing all around, getting back up, losing his helmet and ultimately helping to push the guy out of bounds

I think uploading to the internet is an infringement. You can show it to your neighbors but not to the rest of the world. I think. Technically speaking. I don't see a short youtube as being worth worrying over. He's safe.

I completely agree. I've been very tough on Bennett but he played hard and didn't give up. That is the attitude Garrett wants and if he carries that attitude through the rest of the season, I may change my mind on him no matter how many catches he makes.

Tuner card, like HDPVR and Windows 7 Media center makes it easy. As for the legality, it is probably illegal at worst and grey at best.

Bennett has the size and strength to make LBers and DBs pay. And hopefully this was a wake up call. We cannot continue to be the guy that takes the hit. That is one of the reasons I wish Witten had lowered his shoulder last week on that DB. We do not have punishing RBs. We do not have punishing DBs. But when our TEs get a chance to inflict pain....they should do it.

I am right there with you. Red have them playing full speed, even in error they are flying around. Hopefully, when they get a better understanding of the defensive and offensive concepts, all of that hustle will show up in the won/lose column.

As an aside, I've noticed Bennett has changed his facemask on his helmet for like the third time.

*I know the last picture is of Ogletree, but Bennett is sportin' the same type facemask now. I just think it's curious for a TE who is on the line blocking a lot to want to wear a facemask with little protection. I'm guessing he wants to see the ball better.

This is the kind of effort ive seen from Bennett even last year when the majority of the team mailed it in. Bennett along with a few others were still bringing max effort.
