Trade #9 to Minnesota for #12 and #43. Minnesota drafts OT Tyron Smith.
12 - RB Mark Ingram - Alabama
Dallas gives Miami a double Stone Cold salute....and drafts what many say is the closest thing to Emmitt Smith since Emmitt Smith.
Dallas trades 2012 1st and 2011 3rd to move back into the late 1st round
late 1st - OT Derek Sherrod Mississippi St.
40 - OG Marcus Cannon TCU
Dallas trades down in the 2nd from 43 and adds a 3rd
late 2nd - CB Curtis Brown - Texas
The CB I want the most is Brandon Harris, but Brown is definitely a great consolation prize. Just do not let him return punts, he is a fumble waiting to happen.
3rd - DT Kendrick Ellis - Hampton
With Ellis in the game, I dare teams to try and run up the middle on us, especially with Lee backing him up.
110 - WR Terrence Toliver - LSU
He has size and great hands. I am so sick of all these developmental WRs that never pan out. Toliver instantly becomes our 4th WR, since Hurd is really just a ST weapon. He also gives us yet another big red zone target.
143 - ILB Casey Matthews - Oregon
He has the family pedigree. He may not be as athletic as Clay, but he is what people call a "Football Player." At ILB, we need "Football Players."
176 - FB Henry Hynoski - Pittsburgh
I love me some Gronka Truck, but he did struggle with his blocking. Hynoski is a blocking machine, a flippin bulldozer. He will be clearing all kinds of holes for Mark Ingram to run through.
220 - OT/OG Darius Morris - Temple
Great late round prospect to add versatility and depth to the OL. He can play both G positions and RT.
252 - FS Mark LeGree - Appalachian St.
3 picks from Mr. Irrelevent and we get the biggest ballhawk in college over the last 4 years. Hopefully he can continue to be one with the pigskin on the pro level.
