Marion Barber, a number 2 and a number 4 for Marcus Mcneill AND r.b Mike Tolbert. Tolbert is a hammer. I dunno, Ive always really liked the contribution that Barber has brought to this team over the years. But THIS would be fairly hard to turn down IMO. Bookend offensive tackles and we get younger to boot.

In addition to Mcneill we get a battering ram fullback who can block and run. Pretty good in goal line situations too. Just thinking ahead a bit.......then, next draft we take our low 1st, last pick in the round hopefully and trade down to around the middle of the second and gain a 4th. This way we get the round 4 pick right back. We then take that middle second rounder and nab this guy.......

Height: 6-5. Weight: 320.
Projected 40 Time: 5.13.
Projected Round (2011): 2-3.

4/4/10: John Moffitt was an All-Big Ten first-teamer. Played center before the 2009 season.

Boom, offensive line rebuilt AND a hammer of a fullback added. All in under a year. Moffitt , Free, and Mcneill give us youth. We also save some cap by not having a first, although admittedly Mcneill will add to the cap.

I am not sure how much our need at tackle is but I know we could use a guard

I probably would...but I don't think Free or Columbo deserve to lose their spot. I suppose it would be Columbo and Free gets moved to RT. It'd be a tough pill for Columbo, but we'd be better off.

I know, its speculation. Most probably fantasy. You know, an IDEA. I always thought message boards were a place people came to hash over their thoughts and idea's. :D Oh, and the Madden thing is REALLY worn out btw.

Chill dude, just joking with you. Dont get your panties all in a bunch, it was a freaking joke.

Its all good. Im just firing back a little for the pure sport of it. :D No biggy. Dont make me send Pauli!

With Mathews in their backfield, I doubt Barber has any appeal to them.

When will everyone get it that Marcus McNeil is damaged goods? The Cowboys did not even have him on their board as a rookie because of his spinal stenosis and back problems. They sure aren't going to give up more including a lot of money for him now with a few years of more wear and tear.

San Diego is not going to give up Marcus McNeil for Barber. They dont need him. They just traded up in the draft for Ryan Matthews and have Darren Sproles. They love both those guys.

Not until Dallas actually does trade alot for him, then they watch his career go down the tubes with career ending condition. At which point all these pinheads who are going gaga over him now we'll all say Jones was a complete boob for trading for a guy that everyone knew had a serious medical issue, and that its further proof he doesnt know what he's doing.

You know, kinda like the Roy Williams situation, where 90% of CZ was going ape to trade whatever it took to get the guy, then turned around and acted like they never wanted him here and how they knew more than Jones and co.
