It'll be worth seeing just because Johnny Depp portrays this role so well. If there were ever an instance of perfect casting this is it.

I will admit Depp's performance in the movies is amazing.

I liked the first 2 but the 3rd was not as good. I love Ian McShane so that might get me to watch this one.

2 was bad. 3 proved that you could do worse. I rented and watched them back to back, and lament the fact that I won't be getting that time back.

Hopefully 4 will be at least as good as the first one.

Yes... it's been a total mess after the first one, and this one doesn't look much better.
