Pittdawg...Congrats on Your Son.

Man oh man, how cool is this!!!

I remember how psyched my dad was when I made the Varsity baseball team as the starting CF...he was thrilled...

I simply cannot imagine how hyped up Mr Pettiti must be over this.

Congrats to the whole family. Have a party! Just don't invite Rob because Parcells will kick his butt if his weight goes up. :D

Congrats on your son earning the star, if it were my I'd be like 'Rudy' when he suited up for his game, in the scene where he's staring at himself in the mirror thinking "I really did it! I'm suited up as a Fighting Irish"

Best wishes for him to have a strong start in San Diego. Make sure to check out Croche's while you're there, nice place.

I am very happy for Rob and his dad. This was a great draft pick and he will now be a fan favorite for many many years. We are lucky we got such a quality individual.

Congradulations Pitdawg, to you and your son on not only making it, but starting no less. Great job........you and the Mrs. have got to be some really proud parents this evening.

YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWW!!!!!

Congratulations Pittdawg!!! I'm tickled s___less that Rob is a Cowboy... He's done himself a hell of a job, he's one tough hombre...

Best wishes, best of health, best of everything!!! I hope someday he gets one of those monster gold rings chock full of diamond filled stars for a job well done in one of those late January or early February Sunday evening games...

pittdawg, I want you to pass this message over to your son for me...

GO FIGHTING IRISH!

:yourock:

Right after the draft I predicted Rob would be the starter at RT before the season was over but I meant the regular season, not pre-season. I am very glad for you and your son and very proud of myself for getting one of my predictions right for a change.

I can't wait to see your son playing this season and getting better every week.

Congrats Pittdawg and Congrats to Rob....So many here pulling for him to finally be the answer at RT.

PittDawg, congrats to your family and to Rob. I am looking forward to Rob having a long and successful career with the Cowboys.

i'm going to san diego!!! thanks to all for all your good wishes. i can tell you that rob is extremely happy to not only make a pro team, but make the roster of the Dallas Cowboys. it's easy to tell that the cowboys have very knowledgeble and loyal fans, i hope you find rob's style of play exciting.

go cowboys!!!

Of course, this means you have to keep on posting in here... LOL...

Congrats Bob. I can only imagine how proud you are right about now.

Rob has such a huge opportunity and only because he's worked his tail off to earn this thing. Right tackle was that huge question mark looming over this team all off-season. Who knows, if Rob's performance the other night with Marco next to him meant anything, that right side of the line may quickly turn into a strength along the line.

I haven't seen anything not to like so far. Looks solid in games, is tough, and is sponge-like in his desire to learn. He impressed the heck out of me when he said he was studying with Larry Allen on learning different defensive formations and fronts.

I am very happy Rob made the team. I think he fits the Cowboys and the Cowboys
fit him. I hope he is our starting RT for the next ten years. Congratulations!

Isn't it a little late for Larry to try to learn about defensive fronts, especially from a rookie? He might want to listen to Rivera for a while.

Just want to second everyone's congrats to ur son. Glad he's a cowboy!
