I don't really care what the Giants or Eagles do at this point. I am more concerned with the flaws of this team. The value in taking a TE at 10 for this team just isn't there IMO when you consider the plethora of pass catchers we already have on the team both at the WR spot and at TB. Throw in two competent receiving TEs and while Pitts is a fantastic prospect, the value just isn't there IMO.

So trade the pick if you can, slide down into the late teens, pick up another 2nd and maybe a 3rd or 4th. Does more for the team IMO than taking a TE at 10.

Passing the best player goes against every fiber of my being but the reality is this team has overloaded on offense and every year we see the defense just not have enough talent. I just can't use the 10th pick on a TE.

Anybody we pick at 10 isnt going to make our defense “good” or even average.

Surtain/Horn as rookie CBs would not be THAT much better than a CB selected at 44. So the defense is still going to be an issue in 2021 whether we go CB at 10 or 44.

but if you go CB at 10, then you can go def again at 44 (DL or FS)...two def. players in the top 44 picks... i would think the def is bound to improve a bit

Generally I agree with you. But Pitts is widely considered a generational TE threat who projects to be unguardable in the Kelce mold. Blake Jarwin is not preventing me from making that pick.
Now if a generational CB like Jalen Ramsey is on the board, I'm probably going CB.
