Pitts may go Off

This should be a bounce back game to get back on track. No way that last week was NOT a fluke. It was for sure a self inflicted wound that won’t continue. I could see us struggle for a series but we will make a play and spark the slaughter.

I hope you’re not trying to compare us to dolphins. I didn’t have no idea what to expect out of that team. I knew the Vikings weren’t very good, and I knew Denver was better than people giving them credit for. I haven’t followed the Falcons
Denver is pretty good and hanging very tough in a not so easy division. Impressive. They would be a playoff team in the NFC this season.

Atlanta looked pretty inspired after their win last week.

I wouldn't expect them to roll over.

That said I agree that Dallas will rebound this week...but it won't be easy.

McCarthy need to stop giving teams early momentum with short fields as a start.

Falcons scored 39 against us last year , took an onside kick miracle to beat them . Of course now we have a better D a better coach up in the booth because they will score and Dak & the O need to turn it around .

they also had julio and ridley

Pitts
Offensive Rookie of the Year

Ryan is actually playing decent ball as the savvy vet, but he for sure has the very worst WR group in the NFL now that there is no Julio or Ridley.

edit

oops

forgot about WR Chase and RB Harris

We seem to let rookies have a great start to their careers, hoping Pitts doesn't set a rookie record on us. The guy has been ok nothing great as we all heard he'd be before the draft

What I've come to realize over the years is that great rookies always stick in my memory better than any other player. It's always fun watching a new young talent do things you didn't know possible.

I still remember Big Ben's first season game against us because i couldn't believe how pocket aware he was for a rookie, but I couldn't tell you much about Dak's games just two years ago.

He won’t beat out Chase. He has almost 300 less yards and 6 less touchdowns.

Patterson has been the X factor. Dude has done it all this season!

True
I forgot about Chase.

The season is only halfway over, but yes, Chase has the lead so far for sure.

Chase
Pitts
Najee Harris
Mac Jones
I'm probably leaving someone out, but those guys

If he starts going off we'll just put Anthony Brown on him.
They better pray we don’t run any Cover 0, all out blitz on 3rd and long

Don’t want their guys to get too exhausted from running with so much space now.

not concern its about a W ,

i hope they come and hand us the same fight denver did..

I mean anyone who wants an easy game doesn't understand the word, battle tested..if we want any success we wil learn from last week and hoe the falcons bring their A game and make it as hard as possible to win..

this season not about a pretty record and bunch of wins, we need resistance and tough games to get us prepared..if we end up 9-8 then we dint deserve it in the first place..so bring on this big game whomever is tasked for covering Pitts either comes to play or gets a tough learning lesson to grow from..

i see those happy ridelys out and this and that..

Zoners,

beating soft teams does not prepare for the tough ones..

that azz whooping Sunday was needed, not happy about it , not wishing for more, but this team needed a splash of cold water to the face and against an afc team its what we needed as early wake up call..much like the beat down the colts gave us in 2018 after a nice streak..i feel like its necessary sometimes to be humbled..

Totally different falcons offense this year. No Calvin Ridley, Julio is in TN, a WR is their leading rusher. Their wins have come against NYG, NYJ, Mia, and NO. NO is the only one that is a surprise. They only score 21 ppg and give up nearly 28 ppg. This Atlanta team is not a good team. I expect Dallas to come out with a chip on their shoulders to get the bad taste of the denver game out of their mouths and right the ship.

He done well. It takes time

Him going off only matters for fantasy football purposes. In regards to winning or losing? It doesn’t matter if he goes off.

He has amassed more receiving yards in his first 8 games than any TE in history. He has over 15 yards per reception and only trails the #1 TE (Kelce) by 82 yards with 23 less targets.
It’s worth noting that he went off against the Jets and Dolphins and that’s boosted his stats. He has been somewhat pedestrian outside of those games. He’s a rookie so that’s to be expected.

We should know by now it takes more than one player to win a game.

I’d put Diggs on him. He doesn’t play a traditional TE role. He lines up all over the field

I'd put Parsons on him occasionally. Parsons is just as fast as Diggs and Pitts, and would nullify Pitts advantage against most teams.
