Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey left last Sunday’s loss to the Ravens after dislocating his right thumb and coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that he’s already had surgery on the injured digit.

Tomlin did not rule Pouncey out of this week’s game against the Cowboys, however. He said, via Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, that Pouncey will not practice on Wednesday and that the team will take it day-to-day from there to determine his status for the game.

Got another bet this weekend.

Won the GB Packers bet. Loser had to wear Cowboys gear all day.
Won the Eagles bet. Loser had to wear a Cowboys jersey all day.
Steelers bet: 3 drinks...could be expensive for the loser considering we both like expensive scotch and whiskey :)

Kind of wish we weren't playing them off a loss, but as long as we don't give up a lot of big plays, we will be in good shape.

We could lose this game for sure, but if we hold on to the ball and tackle well like we have been on the perimeter, we should win this game. We will beat them up physically up front, that much I can all but guarantee

. They are overrated, and if we dictate to them, there is no reason we don't win that game.

Only if they Dictate "please don't let your athletic line get to the 2nd level and gash our mediocre run defense"

And we oblige, for some reason.

I'm looking forward to seeing decastro miss blocks and get BR sacked/hit whatever.

I know our dline is not great but neither is he. The most over hyped guard this board wanted badly.

Martin and Leary for the win
He was coveted by that same guy that disappeared. What happened to that guy?

I have a "t-shirt" bet with a buddy from high school that is a big Steelers fan. Loser has to buy a t-shirt of the winning team, take a picture wearing it, post the pic on their Facebook page then send the shirt to the winner. I'm really hoping to have a new Cowboys shirt next week. :)

I don't know if this is still true, but at one point in time, I read teams only win back to back road game about ten percent of the time. Also, I don't think the Cowboys have had an eight game regular-season win streak since 1977.

If memory serves, wasn't that Carr's pick?

Yes sir - should've been a pick six but he got knocked out at the one. Funny how nobody talks about other QB's brutal INT's. Brady and Manning have them too.

Pittsburgh fans really believe Cowboys are their least worry. They believe Cleveland a division game rivalry will be tougher. I really hope we beat them 35-10.

H-m-m, sounds like the people in Pittsburgh are taking us for granted way more than they should. You know what? I'm REALLY liking that idea.
I seriously doubt that the Steelers staff feels that way like the public does but if they do (just a little bit) it's fairly possible that their team does as well. Sounds like a neat little setup to me! They should find that Sundays game is likely to be incredibly tougher than what they envision it to be.
