Technically yes. TB won 48-21. BJ threw a TD pass to Keenan McCardell to get the Bucs from 20-27.

If you want to make a stupid statement, go ahead. But I'm not going to pretend that throwing one pass automatically makes one QB better than another.

Ok, fine, I see what you're saying. I was trying to make a point that under the circumstances Ben came through in the clutch AGAIN.

On a side note, and I know you didn't say this but to make a point: Statistics don't make a QB better, either.

When we needed points from Romo in teh playoffs he didn't get them. He either fumbled the ball or threw an interception. Get real

give me the best defense in the league that only gives up 10 points a game and i'll be "consistently clutch" too.

Oh really, does the defense throw game winning passes?

The defense aren't the ones a team relies on to drive down the field in the final seconds of a game and produce a game winning drive.

Is that like the only defense people come up with? Brad Johnson > Romo. Trent Dilfer > Romo. Ok, I get it.

But you can't sit there and tell me those guys were as consistently clutch as Ben has been. Fine, if you want to get nit picky, how many game winning drives has Ben had in his career?

How many gamewinning drives did Troy Aikman have in his career?

You don't need to be "clutch" if you are good enough to put them away early on in the game. And considering how easy that defense makes it for him to put it away early in the game...

what a dumb statement.

he led what should have been two go ahead touchdown drives in the 4th qtr in seattle in front of the rowdiest crowd in the league.

Witten fumbled at the 1 and wittens first down at the 4 was reversed.

then the crazy fluke play on the hold cost us the game.

the qb stood tall and led two drives straight down the field.

the giants game was different. they made every qb they played in the playoffs struggle. No shame in that.

Rotheslberger wins against all the good teams and we have yet to accomplish that. Enough said. He's a playmaker when the game is on the line.

Pick 6 was a playmaking play, wasn't it?

Bengals can do anything right. I hate watching this team. That's twice they messed up on the extra point.

I happen to think Romo's pretty durned clutch. He might have failed a couple times in the playoffs, but he's had some great drives late in games, and in fact did last week.

And I agree that stats don't make a QB better. I hate it when people try to act like they're the end all be all. And btw, Super Bowl wins is a stat too.

Me, I compare them by watching them. The stats may help an argument, but it's not all there is.

And I'm not saying Romo is tons better than Ben. I think he's a little better, but I think I'd like to have either of them. Romo is great at producing the big play. He has mistakes, but as my OP pointed out, so does Ben.

Romo willed us back in Buffalo two years ago when he was playing like crap. He did it again last week. Did it against Baltimore last year, and I can go on.

IMO the only real difference is that if Ben had taken the Steelers down to score with 3 min left against the Giants like Romo did last week, his defense would have probably closed it out.

well, Good for you.

This entire statement again is completely false.

considering the source, its not really suprising.

Ok a hail mary was the last play. What point does that prove? lol. He was on the bench defeated after that fumble. It was written all over his face, so it may as well have been the last play.
