So I'm flying out to Dallas next weekend with a couple of buddies for the game... where are some good places to eat?

I'm sure there's a bunch, so maybe narrow it down to BBQ and/or steakhouses. Not necessarily looking for a 5-Star super-high-priced joint, but I don't mind spending a bit of money either.

Also, maybe suggest a good place to watch the Saturday night game.

Thanks in advance! :beer2:

I wont recommend any BBQ or steak, but if you come to Dallas, Javiers Gourmet Mexicano is the the greatest mexican food this side of the border. I absolutely love this place.

Everything you need to know is just a click away. :D

P.S. This place has an internationally reputation. Reservations required.

I you get the chance to try the Red Snapper A-La-Mexicana from the sea food menu you wont be disappointed. It's $26.95 but worth every bite. Hopefully it's in season.

On second thought, I can recommend a steak house. Couldnt think of one last night.

Del Friscos Double Eagle Steak House.

This place is not to far from Texas Stadium. Their web site will speak for it's reputation. :D

Drool.... I've been to this place the last couple of times I've come to town for games, and it has never disappointed. It's also never failed to put a dent my my wallet.

If you're looking for some good Mexican food, try Gloria's. There's one at Belt Line and the Dallas North Tollway. I think there's another location, but I'm not sure on that.

If you're looking for some good pizza, Pastazios Pizza in Addison is greatness. So is Carmine's Pizza in Dallas. The thing about Carmine's is that there's this really tall and angry looking Italian guy that stares at you while you order your pizza. If you go, you'll know what I mean. He's never been mean to me, but he sure is intimidating. :D

If you're looking for good Chinese food, May Dragon in Addison is about the best you can get. There's a good chance that you'll see the owner waiting tables and the like. The thing is, he's not just the owner of the place, he's also the Mayor of Addison. Crazy.

If you're looking for BBQ, Dickey's is basically a staple up here. So is Sonny Bryan's. You can't go wrong with either.

So true, I used to live in apt over in the area when I first moved to DFW and would eat there all the time. I was convinced that he was plotting to kill me. So I moved to Arlington.(Hope he's not reading this)
