Jim Schwarts is 8-1 vs Shanahan. We'll find out if his success continues this week. Schwartz is the DC for the Browns.

That is because Jerrys ego wont allow him to cut certain losses because the next time will certainly be the charm, so he doubles down. Examples: himself as GM, boy wonder as executive VP, ten years of Garret, eight years of Dak, the list goes on and on.

any coach from anywhere will ultimately fail under Jerry. even Parcells quit with one year left on his contract. he couldn't take Jerry

It was Parcells final loss that made him retire. Not quite as bad as Jimmy's final loss with the Dolphins that made him retire. But both games, I knew they would retire after the game.

For this to work Jerry would have to stop undermining his coaches like he has been doing for the past 27 years.. These coaches will also have to have a say in who the QB is going to be and who isn't, who the RB will be, etc.
None of this will happen while Jerry is still standing on top of the daisy's rather than pushing them up.

It's really frustrating they have so much success with that scheme. The Dolphins are running the same system and lighting up the score board while Mostert and Achane run rough shot through the league.
In a copy cat league why have we not attempted this? It is clearly the best system.

We’ve played good run teams and our pass game doesn’t stretch the defense out at all.
I think some sideways football with our speedsters would help.
The Dolphins just run so many Jet sweeps and it opens up running lanes.

Buying the best coaches is where Jerry's deep pockets could pay off for the team. No cap hit.
But I'm sure Jerry was proud of himself for replacing Jimmy with Switzer for peanuts.

Don't throw the season away. Do what every other coach has done. Say we need better production from the QB position split the reps in practice and start the guy who looked better. Keep the hook in play during the game. Or alternate the QBs a la Landry with Morton/Staubach. Make it known as long as you are moving the team you play.

C'mon fellas.. I havent been around long but is this what usually happens after a loss?.. its getting a bit boring tbh..
Everyone on the team is crap.. I understand your frustration.. Im sure we are all frustrated.. but sheesh.. all these people who are "done" with the Cowboys are being a bit disingenuous otherwise you wouldnt keep coming back in here.
What do you suggest we do.. Im certainly not going to sit and hope the Boys lose like some.. whomever is at QB, DE or WR Im going to root for them whilste they wear the uni.
The season is not over.. they can still make the playoffs and who knows after that.. yes I know.. 1 and done.. well nobody knows that.. thats the great thing about sport... you just never know.
Think I will go and do something else.. will come back Monday night and hopefully we are back to rooting for the Boys.
