The NTSB Press Conference is over.

Legacy Media Questions: WHAT ABOUT WHAT THE PRESIDENT SAID??????
What about what the NYTimes said??????

NTSB Answer: We will be looking at the facts. This is an Independent Investigation. We will leave no stone unturned.

They said “they believe” there is some kind of “Black Box” on the helicopter.
They said the data on that box will be looked at either by the DoD or themselves.
They said the recovery of the boxes will come AFTER the bodies are recovered.

How do neither craft see the other with all the lights, not to mention instruments, and air traffic control???
I guess the AA plane didn't have a side facing camera to see who coming up from behind at a right angle...

The helo was behind the AA plane, so the bright front headlight from the AA plane was not coming at them...

One speculation is that the helo pilot focused on the wrong plane further out, and missed spotting the AA plane. The NTSB needs to sort all of this out.

Looked almost intentional. Not that it was, but how the heck do you miss a well lit plane like that only to smack into it?
There's rumors on the web, but I cannot post them here. Too hot a potato, and plus, the rumors are not confirmed...

The New York Times is reporting that the helicopter may have been flying outside of its approved flight path and higher than it should have been.

The two new videos on CNN are sickening. Watching them just drop into the water. The first one has me questioning many things. It’s heading right at it!

Helicopter not supposed to be above 200 feet. Accident happened at 356 feet. Copters fault, but why was it 156 higher than it was supposed to be??

The pilots were fixated on landing AS THEY SHOULD BE.

and they were flying towards each other; so your claim the helo was behind the plane is wrong

I'm going to make an educated guess here: in the end, the cause of the crash will be a cyber attack of the avionic system. Just strange. Then again, I could be wrong. It could have been an accident. Just seems so preventable.

Could be as simple as they read the wrong chart or set the wrong altimeter setting.
It’s looks like as if it was a suicide mission

The new videos disprove the couldn’t see it theory.
Pretty hard to ram an airplane going 140 knots. I’ve read they were doing a training event and wearing night vision googles, which severely limit your vision outside. It’s possible the airplane was slightly above them, out of view. They said they had them in sight, so I suspect they saw the wrong one.

Any idea why the night vision with all the surrounding lights in the area? It seems like that is the wrong choice to me.

Typical krap from the Legacy Media, this is why they are basically dead. Humans don’t play those games anymore…

While nothing has been officially released by the NTSB:
  • It appears there may have been an Air Traffic Controller staffing shortage with one Controller taking on two jobs.
  • This airport has been the center of "accident waiting to happen" controversy since the 80s.
  • Military air traffic in the area has been deemed excessive by commercial pilots.
  • The restricted air spaces around the airport make for some narrow navigational lanes to maintain.
  • The Pilots on both aircraft are considered highly competent.
  • No one is currently sure if the Helicopter Pilots were utilizing night vision at the time of the crash.
Terrible tragedy all around.
