Where in the world is Jerry's private jet? :D

I pray to God it's at Hartsfield and he is taking a rental car to Conway Dr in Atlanta.

Does Jack Kavorkian still practice? If so, he should fly there.

Yes, and he goes by the name of Wade Phillips.

Very wishful thinking.

The earliest that a coaching change will happen is 1 day after the conculsion of the Cowboys season... Which for all intensive purposes will be next weekend, however I've sure Jerry will wait until after the Cowboys have played their 16th game of the regular season.

See, I would believe that except for the fact that Jerry hates embarrassment. He has suffered quite a bit if it lately. Most of the times, when it happens, the ship somehow gets righted. (Wade finally steps up)

The problem this time is the fact that it while it righted for a second, it turned around and sunk again the very next game. Not only that, the team the Cowboys did beat, got exposed for what they actually are. Pretenders. Thus weakening the value of the one win the Cowboys did manage to get.

This ship hasn't completely sunk yet, but it's burning out of control. The last thing Jerry wants it to be embarrassed to the point that his Superbowl contender ends the season 4-12. (the record that are on pace for)

If Jerry finds a suitor, (read great HC thats ready to come in now) I think he pulls the trigger. If he doesn't, then I think we are stuck with Wade till seasons end.

That is the real question. Is there a big time HC out there now, that Jerry really likes, that wants to coach, and that will accept Jerry for what he is.

If so, Wade is dispatched. Otherwise, sit tight. It's going to be a long ugly season.

Vegas getting a new batch of hookers and gin. Jerry's going underground for the rest of the season.

I have said time and time and time again that Jerry will not fire and hire another coach during the season. Said with confidence.

HOWEVER...I lost some of that confidence with all of the reports about Cowher prior to our win vs the Texans.

Too many separate reports on the net and some other info that came to light that made me change my stance or at least made me lose some of the confidence in my previous proclamations.

Now...maybe that time has passed with the bye week but I am just not as confident in it as much.

I do have to wonder if he has made further contact with Cowher (or other coaches if you wish) to see if they are still interested and possibly to give them time to start to see if they could put a staff together.

Now...still probably will not happen during the season, but I am not adamant about that proclamation like I used to be.

Time will tell.

What might just happen is what happened last year. Remember everyone pretty much said wade was a goner but the team pulled it together in the last few weeks and went on to win a playoff game and all seemed to be forgotten.

Now if that happens again...

I don't think a coaching change now could save the season. It would send a clear message to the team though and would give who ever is coming inn a head start at identifying some of the problems

It will be hard to put together a staff right now. Best done in the off season.
