Can I ref too???

And I will end this as follows. There are good and bad calls on every side of a game. You only want to see what you see. Fine, doesn't bother me one bit.

Here is a reality check. The Ravens figured out if they hit us hard we would lose. The only way. The only problem was, they were tackling our WR's before they even had a chance to catch the ball. And the refs allowed that to happen until the 4th quarter.

Now, if that happened to your team you would be going nuts. But if it happens to the Pats, well fine and dandy.

When the playoffs come, I think the refs are going to shut that down quick. Then there is no issue.

You can not touch a WR after 5 yards. You can thank the Colts for that.

Just the way it is.

I think it is pretty obvious that the Pats have received very favorable officiating this year. In almost every single game the Pats have played, the other team has more penalties for more yards and at the most critical points in the game.
The Pats had a franchise record in penalties against the Pats. Maybe they'll officiate their playoff game(s).

This may come as a big surprise to you, but many blind people are on the internet.

I work in the computer industry, and many times I have been faced with trying to make that happen. And it does.

Some things are OK to say about teams, etc. This is not one of them.

Imagine not seeing. To me, the worst thing that can happen to a person because I have such a love of nature -- and not seeing what I have seen in my life would take away so much.

Please, you can sink to the bottom. This is one place you should not go.

To sum it up, he said:

That was the worst officiating I have been a part of in my 8 years of football.

It seems to be a trend with whoever plays the Patriots. Too bad you get fined for criticizing the refs, because I'm sure we would hear a lot more criticism.

Huh? The officiating wasn't bad at all. Sure-Wilfork got away with a poke in the eye that should have resulted in a PF(at best), but the Gints scored a TD on that drive anyways.

And that push out of bounds by Merriwhether in the 4th was legal, while Amani Toomer taunting him at the end wasn't.

:bang2: Voted "most ignorant post" of 2007. Congrats!

Oh wait!! Haynesworth scraping Gurodes scalp open is what, a 5 yard penalty? Hell, who needs helmets. I say get rid of them and give 'em clubs. If you bash a guy in the head BUT they score a TD............all's fair in love and war.

BTW.....your last comment is BS and you know it.

The officiating was bad but not biased. If the refs wanted the Patriots to win they wouldn't have bothered with delay of game. They would have called holding or illegal block in the back on the kick return. Moss pushed off on the first Touchdown but he does that all the time and since he was being mauled by two defenders the refs let it go. If a defender can bump the reciever as long as he's going for the ball then the reciever should be allowed to push back to some degree.

I believe Moss was the most penalized receiver in the league for offensive PI when he played with Oakland. Your right, he does it all the time. He just doesn't get called for it, because he is playing for the Patriots. This year, the defense gets called for it, when Moss initiates contact.

BTW, Moss wasn't getting mauled.

Moss did what he always does because he is allowed to get away with it.He engages with the defender first so that his pushoffs are not so obvious.I do not recall if he has been as proficient at this his entire career or if he has been "coached up" by the Patriots staff to make the absolute most of his ability to cheat and get away with it.

Anybody know how many times the Pats have been flagged for holding on the offensive line while pass blocking this year?Living in New England I get to see all the Pats games and the one thing that gets me going the most is the blatant holding that goes on all day long. That and the cheap, after the whistle, shots they love to take.

The refs did make a few bad calls but the Pats still had to score to win, they made the plays when it mattered and the Giants didn't- NE have been doing that all year and that's why they are 16-0. The refs have helped them a few times along the year but I think everything that goes on with the Pats is magnified, a decision in any other game would just go under the radar but with NE it becomes a big deal.

They get away with some calls but so do a lot of teams, they just take advantage of their chances better.

That's not cheating. That's pushing the boundaries of the rules without getting called. Is it cheating when a QB rolls out of the pocket and throws the ball away to avoid being sacked? Is it cheating when the DB runs up to the line before a play to try and draw the offsides? Is it cheating when the offense tries to snap the ball before the substitution can get off the field?

No, they just don't call it, because he is with the Patriots. The guy supposedly got flagged all the time with the Raiders.

Spoken like a true Pats fan. You guys have a different definition of cheating then most others. Your analogys are apples to oranges.
