In Scott's defense: the offense was predictable last season. But we don't whine(as much) when things are rolling. I think the offense is suffering from our inability to run the ball, even more so than other offenses would be.

I'm more upset with play design than play calling. When you watch the Patriots pass offense every single route is designed and run with a specific purpose, then you watch our pass offense and its just 3 or 4 guys running in a straight line down the field.

It's both.

Even with Romo it's bad.

No it was bad then too. It just worked better

You know I was upset with it the last few weeks but frankly with Weeden at the helm iI am not sure it makes much difference. Grrrrrr

I think Weeden and the absence of Dez minimizes the playbook some, but I think the biggest problem with the offense is the offense. Romo makes it look good because he always makes great pre-snap reads and has the presence to buy time until someone gets open, but sadly, Air Garrett just does nothing to help the players succeed.

Who's fault is that that we can't run it? Again, that's on the coaches sticking with this stupid RB by committee approach.

Randle is nothing more than a change of pace back and clearly not an every down back. Utilize him like we did last year when he was successful and put in CM as the every down back.

Heck, with our stupid coaching staff even Gurley would have been wasted had we drafted him.

The amount of times on 3rd down when they threw 3 yard passes when they needed eight yards boggles the mind. The good news is Guinness was at the game and Weeden officially set the most check downs in a single game record.

Running on every first down despite New England making it clear they weren't gonna allow the Cowboys to get the ground game going. Can't really disagree with Catch17 that the scheme is too basic. You never saw Terrance in the slot. You never saw any pick plays like New England did throughout. Flanking Escobar out wide. Stacking the receivers. Little pitches to Beasley. Screen passes to any of the backs. Just zero creativity whatsoever and don't get me started on not having the cajones to go for it on fourth down when we were knocking on the door.

Even Phil Simms was like they got to get more creative.. And he mentioned that tendencies are indicating Dallas is going to run, particularly in first and they don't change...

This whole Garrett offense for 8 years and we are still basic... Over and over again, pounding the head at such a joke it is... Every time Romo goes out we see how flawed it is, but evidently people in the front office think Romo has eternal life and will be bailing Garrett out for eternity...

Scott is hamstrung by a front office that won't let him play his guy...and keeps shoving career backups down his throat. @ this point......Kellen Moore should ask for his release

Moore is just happy to be in the NFL.

This is true. The RBBC is killing this offense. Randle flat out sucks and I don't see why we keep giving him the ball. We need to see more from Cmike. He seems like the best back that we have.

Because we were able to run. This offense is junk with out big plays in the run game. I'm not sure if Romo and Dez will change it. Hope I'm wrong.

They will because they are elite players.

Still though... You gotta think we would have a Super Bowl by now with elite coaching.

Patriots have had teams that are far from perfect but they still manage to win it all because they scheme teams.
