Now that Torrin is in at LT, do you think that BP will be more conservative and see more dump offs and running plays that got us nowhere earlier in the year? :bang2:

I think he will do what he believes gives us the best opportunity to win based on his experience as a future hall-of-fame coach.

BP also mentioned you have to trust the guys you have out there. not sure if he's just propping up T Tucker or if he relly belives that and will call a normal game.

I hope he calls a regualr game and Tucker steps up and I eat a huge plate of Crow....that's what I want to see.

They went after the Giants in OT don't think anything will change with Tucker in there.

My guess is that he'll be much more conservative. Parcells shows me that he gets conservative if he *thinks* he cannot protect the QB. He was conservative in the Washington game. Remember, the Washington defense was thought to have an improved pass rush at the time. He kept it conservative to avoid Bledsoe being sacked.

In the Giants game he didn't have his best blocking back in Julius and he was pretty conservative as well.

Rich.......

BP can "open it up" and call long passes, etc. only if play action works. Play action only works if the defense believes he is likely to call a running play. I don't think TT at LT will make any difference to his game planning. But if TT cannot block to establish a credible run threat or cannot pass block reliably (I don't think this is likely), then the play calling from within the game plan is likely to become more conservative. On the other hand, if we fall behind more than about 10 points it is likely we will take more long shots.

The only difference TT's presence will make will depend entirely on his execution. BP says TT execution is good if he understands clearly what to do. My guess the "plan," then will be to have someone (LA?) tell TT what to do.

i would think our gameplan would be to try and get ahead quickly and force seattle to rely mostly on their passing game.

to help tucker out, maybe put an extra blocker or motion a guy on his side. i look for bledsoe to rollout and take 3-5 step drops.

i hope we don't call a conservative gameplan and rely on cortez to win. because if we can't stop alexander, seattle will be scoring in bunches. if we fall behind, it's going to get really ugly with pettiti and tucker. they're definitely going to need help.
