Way to go kid. If you don't jump on that fumble, the game's over.

Absolutely...he earned his promotion to the active roster on that play alone.

Call of the day goes to the crooked ref that nearly lost us the game on the phantom holding call on the Dez kick return.

My play of the day was the one pass Reggie Wayne dropped. Gravity saved us. :laugh2:

Seriously though, that was a heads up play by Miller. That's what Choice was supposed to be playing like on ST. =P

Does his good special teams play today means more time on the offense?
jesse holley and mccann almost cost us the game.

Seriously Dez had broken into the open...and was running...and running some more...and then a flag comes in!?

By Jerry's logic, he should be the starting RB next week.

The holding call was definitely not a phantom call. Another camera angle showed Hurd had a fist full of jersey to the point where the defenders number on the backside was pulled to the left front. From the back it looked like Hurd was about pull the jersey over the defenders head like in a hockey fight.

Either way it cost Dez a home run type return, great field position and ultimately led to I think Holley whiffing on his block that caused the punt to be blocked for a score and then Dez getting hurt on the next kick off.

exactly shady refs....he called that super late dez was already gone plus there was barely a hold i seen alot worst. That was a tacky call by a shady ref thats it. How many holding penalties did they call against the colts olinemen because believe me they was holding. how many holding calls did we get through out the game.:bang2:

I watched the replays about 3-4 times. What Hurd did isn't holding.

I made the same assessment. Aikman disagreed with us, however.

That's what it looked like to me after watching it in slo-mo. Hurd's left hand held #10's right shoulder pad.

Maybe it was makeup call for that blatant hold by Witten (on Austin's TD run against the Saints) that wasn't called.

Witten did the same crap today on Choice's TD run.

BTW, that was clearly holding, Hurd nearly had the guy's name pulled to his chest. Easy call.

Witten had a nice false start making Buehler's Fg attempt to end the half that much longer. Witten is becoming a penalty machine.

In the Cowboys' Fan Bible, criticizing Witten is apparently the unmentionable sin.

That call on Hurd was BS. Its another one of those calls to make sure we don't have big plays. Commentators like Aikman only coverup the ineptitude of the refs.

Dallas has managed to find themselves some pretty good special teams guys and seems when they're called up, they execute: McCann, Holley, now Miller...

Holley did release the guy on the blocked punt, but I guarantee he will not let it happen again. I really like his work ethic and motor. Miller looks like he can do the same.
