Should Philly lose Sunday to New Orleans (Hurts is out), do we go for the East and Play starters next week or rest for the Playoffs. By the way Philly and Dallas both play at noon next week, Philly at home plays the Giants, and we play the Commanders at their house. Poll is only open for 24 hours. Cast your vote!
How stupid would we feel and how angry would everybody be if we rested starters and lost then see that the eagles lost....

Play starters regardless of whether you can win the East.

Exactly, I would play them regardless, even if the division title is out of play. I might not play them the whole game, but I would give them enough work to stay sharp. I would only rest the injured players. Every time we rest players or have a bye in the Wild Card round, we lose.

Under the scenario you gave, you gotta play them.
If the Eagles clinch, play your starters the first half of the Washington game, then sit them in the second half.
Any player who is injured, you don't play at all.

Yes sir!! I agree with this 100%.

How can anyone even ask this question. Is there any fan that would suggest resting players when we have not only a chance to win the division and host a playoff game instead of going on the road but also when we have a shot at a bye which would give us the same week of rest but at a one millionth more important time. Anyone who votes rest starters needs their head examined or a lecture on winning in the playoffs. I literally can’t comprehend this line of thinking.

How can any one ask the question you ask? Anyone who pays attention to cowboyzone posts would see that many don't see the division championship as relevant at all and that the playoffs are all that matters, judging by the poll so far there are about 18.2% so far that need that lecture on winning in the playoffs you reference and say they need..

Treat this game like preseason. Starters go thru process of getting ready. Getting mentally ready. But pull them after couple of series

If you are a winning team that dominates and has consistency you rest your starters. If you are a winning team that is inconsistent that doesn't dominate opponents you want to establish some consistency and go hot into the playoffs.

It’s not as much about a division banner as it is a home playoff game and mostly the possibly of an amazingly huge, enormous, incredible advantage of a first round bye

Now that this is reality, and based on the giants having nothing to play for (except pride) against Philthy I think a Hybrid approach is the way to go, prepare the starters and also Rush and company for an early entry into the game, in any case I think Rush can either win or keep it very close against the commanders and if we need a last quarter comeback (we play at the same time as the eagles) to get the number 1 or 2nd seed put in the starters and run the hurry up.

Would the Giants play starters to try and screw over the Eagles?

They have a huge rivalry. I can't imagine them just laying down and handing the division to Philly.
