Quick questions, anyone know roughly how many other teams around the league have such vague and myserious playcalling duties like the Cowboys.

For the most part, who calls the plays is something of an enigma and I was wondering if that is something that is typical or are we the exception.

And for you Parcells Historians, has he always handled the Playcalling like this?

I believe that Dallas was the only team to start the year with out a formal offensive coordinator. Baltimore fired theirs mid-season so there are now two teams.

I have no idea if this is a typicall Bill thing or not, but this is the first year for it during his time at Dallas.

Personally, I think the system in place works as the team puts up points...but the offensive lacks an idenity...you can often tell which of the "three heads" called which play. I also feel that this system doesnt help during the game as you have three guys paying attention to the play calling and leaving their position duties aside.
