The development of some of the guys who have been there is obviously going to determine how this team with perform. There's quiet a bit of talent on the roster coupled with gaping holes. Does anyone believe any of these players will step up in 2014 so this team can contend right now?
1)JJ Wilcox or Matt Johnson- not feeling great about these two but I could see Wilcox becoming a solid player this season. I know Johnson is a glass man and Wilcox made some bone head plays last year but he was a rookie.
2)Ceasar Rayford- (I know he's not young in age but in NFL experience)I liked what I saw from him last pre-season with the colts. Tough year but maybe have a decent 2nd year in this 4-3.
3)Ben Bass- Potentially could add some much needed depth at DT
4) Tyrone Crawford- To be a good defense he may have to be an 8-10 sack guy, does anyone think he has that kind of talent?
5) Devonte Holloman- This seems like the most likely guy to break out this season. Love his ball skills and nose for the football. But can he be a difference maker?
6) Joseph Randle- With the 2 guys ahead of him on the depth chart being hurt often, can he be the lead back for a few weeks??? or Should Dallas grab another RB in FA or Draft? thoughts?
If a few of these guys step up and They have a solid day 2&3 of the draft (defense) What kind of team can Dallas be this year? and how far away before they can be a real threat to SF or SEA??
