Tony per report fractured his ribs and we all suspected he would be out for some time, many were throwing in the towel for the whole season, and the world was dark. Kitna had rust and threw 2 INTs, Dockery couldn't understand the snap count anymore, and things looked real grim.

Then, from out of the locker room appears Romo. He taps on the bench to let Kitna and Garrett know he is ready to go. He yells for his helmet, straps it on and runs onto the field.

He brought the team back to victory. He not only showed incredible grit, returning to the field after a rib injury (some of the worst pain in the world), he educated Holley on a plot to trick the Niners safety into a trap. First, connect on short routes to demonstrate a pattern for using Holley, then fake the same type of play and have Holley GO DEEP. The safety bit HARD, and Holley was WIDE OPEN for the huge play to the 1 yard line. This allowed Bailey to redeem himself completely, so it was kind of poetic that Holley was stopped short.

Congratulations to the whole team on a great game. One of the most thrilling wins I've seen in a long time.

Go Cowboys! Still on course for 11-5 and winning the division.

I'm a huge Romo fan, but I was pretty skeptical of the decision to put him back in the game. After seeing his play in the first half and hearing that it was a broken rib, I just didn't think he would have it in him. I even made a post in the GDT about how the NFL isn't a Disney movie.

Well call Tony Romo Zach Efron, because Disney couldn't have scripted this ending any better.

Miles a close second - that catch for a TD was one the most beautiful plays I have ever seen. What athletic ability to lunge for that TD!

Exactly. He refused to lose. He knew Kitna hadn't been taking the practice reps, he knew this game could ruin the season if we lost, he knew he is the leader of this team, he knew champions get up off the matt and return to the fight, and HE DID IT.

This could change things in more ways than we realize at the moment. Romo may have just graduated to the big time.

That's true. But Romo as to get them the ball in a place where they can catch it. And he did just that. I criticized him last week because it was warranted. But I'll praise him this week because it's definitely warranted.

This type of game, and permorance by one of your leaders...can do wonders and spark a team and evey player to reach deep on every play...it will prove it worth somewhere down the road.

When I saw that, I was like hmmmmm, are they actually going to use Holley for a change? Question answered. Romo and Holley set up the game-tieing FG and connected for the game winner in OT. We couldn't have written the script any better.

That play looked like a much harder hit than the one I keep seeing when they talk about him getting injured. Makes more sense.

Tony is a football player. Football players play hurt. They rise above the pain. There are some people on this team that need to look at his example and suck it up.

Sean Lee, Mike Jenkins, Miles Austin and Jason Witten also played hurt.

Maybe Jason Garrett is establishing some expectations.
