There it is folks. Murray's season is in the top 10 in Cowboys History and he has 5 more games. He is on pace for 1973 yards rushing. He leads the NFL in rushing by 406 yards. I think he could get back on pace for 2000 yards on Thanksgiving.

Tony Romo has 38 straight games with a TD pass on the road, that is the NFL record by 6. He threw a TD pass in his 39th consecutive game overall. That is the 5th best all time. He engineered his 27th game winning drive, and should have shut his idiotic detractors up for good. He is now 2 TDs behind Steve Young for 26th place all time, and 4 behind Donovan McNabb for 25th all time. He moved past Mark Brunnell and now stands alone in 35th place on the NFLs all time passing yardage list. With a decent game Thursday he could pass Sonny Jurgenson and Kurt Warner who are 124 and 244 yards ahead.

Jaosn Witten passed Torry Holt for 15th place on the NFLs all time receptions list. He is now 18 behind Art Monk for 14th place. With 7 more yards he will pass Lance Allworth for 36th place all time in receiving yardage, and he is now threatening Michael Irvin's team record, but he probably will not catch that this year.

Dez Bryant is now 121 yards from his 3rd straight 1000 yard season. With 10 TD catches he is within striking distance of breaking Terrell Owens' team record of 15.

Dwayne Harris moved past Kevin Williams for 6th place on the Cowboys all time punt return yardage record. He is 143 yards behind 5th place all time. He narrowed the gap in Kick Return yardage and is 55 yards behind Darryl Clack for 9th place.

This was our 20th season sweep of the Giants. The most we have against any team.

I always like these types of posts. I started doing them early in the year but frankly you do a better job of it by adding the cowboys history and nfl history to them.

I will add this to your list...

Dez is tied at #1 in TDs by a WR with 10. He is tied with Cobb of Green Bay.

Dez is tied at #2 for pass receiving TDs with Cobb of Green Bay

Julius Thomas leads the league in Pass receiving TDs with 12.

That won't happen until he wins a championship.

Greatly appreciated.

One total you can start looking at as well Hos is that Dez now has 50 career TD catches after last night. He's only 15 behind Michael Irvin for the teams all time TD catch record. He should break that sometime next season.

Always enjoy these history updates. Really puts into perspective how good these guys are, and that we should appreciate it while we can.

I have had it in the back of my mind for a couple of weeks. You're right I need to start mentioning it.

How crazy is that? There is a possibility that in only his 6th year in the league he's going to break Irvin's team record for TD catches.

Romo's 143.4 rating was a career high for a road game. The 138.8 rating in the previous game is his 4th-highest.

Only one other time since 1960 has a QB had back-to-back road games with ratings that high on 25+ attempts with 3+ TD (Cunningham for the 15-1 Vikings in 1998).

In his last 13 road games going back to the beginning of 2013, Romo has thrown 27 TD and 5 INT. Two of the five were Janoris Jenkins' pick six in St. Louis, and Hall on Dez at Washington last year. The other three were the ball that bounced off Dez's hands last year in the Meadowlands, the pass for Beasley in Philly when Tanner dragged Ryans into the throwing lane, and the Hail Mary that went through Dez's hands just before the end of the half in the same game.

These are the only WR with 50+ TD, and at least 14 yards/catch, in their first five seasons. (Hayes had 49 TD in his first five.)
64 Jerry Rice 1985-89
60 Randy Moss 1998-2002
54 Lance Alworth 1962-66
50 Dez Bryant 2010-current

Last night Dez became the 4th fastest receiver to reach 50 TDs.......behind Lance Alworth, Randy Moss, and Jerry Rice.

Great post Hos! DM29 needs 643 yards for 2,000. That’s 128.6/per for the last 5 games. I think that's doable.

To do it I think he needs at least one really great game.

If he could pop a couple of long runs (50-60+ yards) that would help.

Longest runs the last 3 games:

NYG - 18 yards
JAX - 23 yards
ARZ - 17 yards
