Demarco Murray passed Tony Dorsett for 3rd place on the Cowboys all time rushing seasons and now leads the NFL in rushing by 409 yards. He needs 87 yards in the final two games to pass Emmitt Smith team single season record. He would need 313 yards in the final two games to be the 8th RB to pass 2000 in a single season. It isn't likely, but it is not impossible. He now has passed 2000 yards from scrimmage and stands 2082 yards, which is 66 yards behind Emmitt Smith's team record of 2148 yards from scrimmage in a single season.

Dez Bryant's 3 TD receptions give him 13 on the season. 3 more would break Terrell Owens' team record of 15. His 13 TDs tied his 2013 total and is tied with that season for 3rd best all time for receiving TDs in a season by a Dallas Cowboy. Dez is 84 yards from moving this season into the top 10 all time by Dallas Cowboys. He also passed Tony Hill tonight and moved into 4th place all time in TD receptions with 53. Next above him is Jason Witten at 56.

Speaking of Jason Witten, the rumors of his demise were once again premature. He is simply the most complete TE in the game, and maybe History. He is doing whatever it takes to win. What more can you ask? Jason Witten's 7 receptions tonight moved him past Anquan Boldin and into 15th place on the all time receptions list. He leads Boldin by 1. He is 8 receptions from passing Art Monk for 14th place and 12 from passing Derrick Mason for 13th place all time.

Tony Romo passed Donovan McNabb for 25th place all time in TD passes and tied George Blanda for 24th place all time in TD passes thrown. 2 more will move him past Jim Kelly for 23rd place all time. He is 4 from passing Len Dawson for 22nd place all time. Tony is now 86 yards form passing Ken Anderson for 32nd place on the all time passing yardage list, and 189 yards from passing Troy Aikman for 31st place on the all time NFL list, but he would take over the number 1 spot all time for the Dallas Cowboys. He is 318 yards form passing Y. A. Tittle for 30th place on the all time passing yardage list. He threw a TD pass in his 40th straight road game.

Dwayne Harris moved past Herschel Walker for 7th place on the Cowboys all time kick return yardage list. He now stands at 1985 yards and is 105 yards from moving past Reggie Swinton for 6th place.

Dan Bailey passed 500 points for his career.

Some of my favorite threads to read.

Reggie Swinton. Wow, havent heard/thought that name in a long time. What, 11 or 12 years ago he was in Dallas?

Thanks Hos!

Wow, Mason was that high up the list? That was a pretty quiet ascension in my opinion!

For years I would have agreed that Witten is the most complete TE in the league. But Gronk has been a better receiving threat and a comparable blocker this year. Love Witten, but it was inevitable than another TE pass him by at some point.

Very under rated player.
Also, a recent player.

Art Monk, next on the list for Witten to catch (well, unless Boldin passes him again next week), is also the highest on the list who didn't play in the 2000s. The all-time receptions list looks completely different from how it looked a decade ago, and it's going to look completely different again in another decade.

There just is no doubt, if Romo can get a ring he must go into the Hall of Fame with the numbers he'll end up with at the end of his career.

I just hope his lack of Pro Bowls won't hurt him.

Without question. His numbers are worthy but he needs a ring. Amazing that he could go from never getting in to being a first ballot Hall of Famer with a championship. Not too many QB's I can think of that fit into that category.

Also: thanks for these posts Hos. Good stuff.

Funny that the most significant rushing performance all-time in Cowboys history only ranked sixth overall.
