according to NFLDraftScout's top 32. I've limited it to ratings 25-29.

25. Florida DE Carlos Dunlap
26. Boise State CB Kyle Wilson
27. Notre Dame WR Golden Tate
28. TCU DE Jerry Hughes
29. UCLA DT Brian Price

What would you do?

1st off I would question their selections of players. I think if you like a guy who some may have as the 1st pick of the 2nd rd then select him you’re not going to get another shot at that player. As for trading out of the 1st that really would depend on who I could work a deal with, no way would I sit there and wait until the 56th pick to make a selection. I would rather go for quality over quantity

I think Price will become a great NFL DT, but no way in hell do I consider a DT in the first 2 rounds you don't take backups in the top of the class.

I could see Wilson, Tate, and Price as legit options for Dallas. Wilson and Tate are obvious, but Price is actually a small DT who would play the five-technique for Dallas. He could also back up Ratliff in a pinch, so I actually see both him and Jared Odrick as potential conversion options.

This or trade back for me.

I really think this Kyle Wilson guy could be a special player.

My first move would be to move back if those were the BPA.

If I couldnt find a suitor, I'd go with Golden Tate.

Where is the surge of want for a CB coming from? T-New is 31 he has another 2-3 seasons. You could either groom Scrandrick or grab someone next year in the later rounds to groom.

Going back to Price, he may have the potential to convert to 3-4 DE but idk if I risk it because if he can't convert we're stuck with a backup DT.

How quickly we forget the Greg Ellis/Spencer conversation.

#1 You dont draft for need
#2 You can never have enough corners
#3 If you wait till you have to replace a starter you have waited too long
#4 By your philosophy the only thing we should draft is a kicker in round 1 because realistically, IT IS the only open position with out a starter.

Point taken, with a perennial pro-bowler in Jenkins, I still think we have a bigger need than CB if one of the big Safetys free-falls or Iupati is there, then I look at ILB and see if any one is there.
Need order excl; Kicker IMO:

Safety>O-Line>ILB>WR/CB Depth

Seems like if we drafted another CB then Newman would transition to FS in the next couple years and we would have Wilson, Jenkins, and Scandrick at corners. But also if one of the three were to go down there isnt much behind them besides Ball.

Can T-new play FS?

He cant catch worth a damn but he would have the range it seems. I see it as an option once Scandrick passes him as the other starter but i could br wrong, but if we drafted antoher CB i think there is a good possibility of seeing how it works out in the future.
