Thread quiz......how many sure-fire first-round graded players on the list in your opinion?

In other words, what are the chances our pick at 17 is listed? That likely narrows the probabilities down a bit to players interviewed at the combines and/or senior bowl.

The way I see it........
Most so-called draft gurus seem to think there 5 elite defensive players worthy of top 10 selection; Young, Simmons, Okudah, Henderson, and Kinlaw. A number mocks seem to suggest at least 2 ( Young and Simmons ), maybe 3 ( Okudah ) WILL NOT get out of the top 10. That would leave Kinlaw and Henderson outside the top 10 but before 15. My point is we may have to trade up, otherwise settle on McKinney, Chaisson, offensive player or trade down.

Why is mckinney an option but not Epenesa? Mckinney ran slow just like AJ only AJ is a much better player on the field. I can see chaisson but if your reasoning is combine performance then McKinney isnt an option

Read a couple of tweets last week Mckinney is higher than some think. In fact, a number of mocks are listing him as first-rounder, not so for Epenesa.

BTW....this has nothing to with combine performance/ranking. It's trying to narrow the probability of Cowboys likely pick/option at 17.

There are a few picks that will make me lose total faith in the front office with recent history of Taco/Hill. Mckinney is one of the players that will lose me totally.

I know for a fact they have spoken with the likes of Kinlaw, Henderson, Chaisson, throughout the process. Some maybe legitimate targets, others to get teams in front of them to trade up so another prospect falls. I do believe the 3 mentioned above are their 3 main targets.

I think some of you guys are putting way too much stock in these video conferences.
If I understand correctly, they are unlimited. So, we may have done hundreds of these that we have not shared.
Also, that list includes the top running back in the draft. I would give you a 1000 to 1 odds we don't draft that kid.
I know that the last few years we have been pretty poor at hiding out intentions, but our new head coach is coming from a different regime that probably knows that and is probably shared that information and may be encouraging the Jones boys to be a little more secretive.
I think the earlier lists are a little more telling.

That's assuming, no other prospect goes higher, where another will fall. The Cowboys will have 1 available no matter what. If it's the last Tackle, we could just make the pick or have a great trading chip as the Dolphins are right behind us and traded away Tunsil last year.
